I would die for him.

Bakugou yelling about how it’s too early heavily implies that he’s not a morning person, but he also isn’t a night time person as he canonly goes to sleep at like 8:30pm. He just really likes sleep.

I wonder if people’s quirks play up when they get sick or overly emotional. Quirks are a regular bodily function so it would make sense if they can be accidentally triggered or go wrong sometimes

I like to view it as a physical ability, like singing. Just cause you CAN sing doesn’t mean you sing 24/7.

And when you sing with emotion you sing better. More powerful.

And when a quirk goes wrong, it’s like when you don’t focus. Even the most professional singer can sing off key if they’re not 100% focused on their voice, especially at crucial moments

And the way they’re training their quirks to push it them past their limits. And the way Bakugo says how quirks are still physical and thus have physical limitations.

But like with Eri loosing control of her quirk, I would see it similar to just screaming.

Screaming from her emotions bursting from the floodgate. From all the horrible things that she’s seen and at such at a young age.

TL;DR I view quirks like singing since that’s also a physical ability. You have to train it, know how not to hurt yourself, stay focused. But that also means that emotions can impact your quirk.



I just want to know how the entire class somehow agreed to this crackhead setup. So much effort has gone into making a disco ball effect when they could have just gotten Momo to make one. Everything about this panel is so chaotic from the look on everyone’s faces to the shirt Todoroki is unironically wearing with ‘ice’ written on it. What a fucking mess I love 1A so much

Y’all ever just get emotional because you remember that this is the look Todoroki gave Midoriya when he was told that he can choose his own path and isn’t bound by his blood for the first time since his mother was put in hospital

Midoriya referring to Todoroki as ‘Shoto kun’ makes me soft

I love how there are some headcanons that the entire fandom has unanimously agreed on like the fact that Todoroki steals Endeavour’s credit card or that Kaminari loves memes

Somethings are just facts and everyone knows it XD

I just want to say, I genuinely don’t understand how some people have Endeavour as their favourite character. I understand how he’s a powerful hero with a flashy quirk and tough personality, but he’s also an abuser. I know that so many people have written this sort of thing before but I just wanted to share my opinion on the topic.

I understand that he’s gotten better and isn’t actively abusing his family anymore, but he also hasn’t done anything to make up for what he did. He hasn’t apologised properly to his kids, Todoroki Rei is still locked up in a hospital and just being a decent human being isn’t really a reason to forgive him for all the trauma and hurt he caused.

From what we’ve seen, Endeavour is a very selfish man. All of his hero goals weren’t about saving people, but simply about making himself number one. He most likely forced Rei to have kids with him just to have powerful children. He doesn’t even see his children as people, he treats them as objects and simply dismisses and throws away the ones he doesn’t need because their quirk didn’t manifest how he wanted. He made Fuyumi look after their family despite her young age because he wasn’t going to do it himself. He wasn’t even going to train Bakugou or Midoriya alongside Todoroki until he got that message from Hawks telling him that their entire society might end in four months.

While it is unclear if he physically abused his older children, he clearly did enough damage that Natsuo hates him and Touya ‘died’. We know that he physically abused Rei and there’s a chance there was sexual abuse too when he made her have his kids because of her ice quirk. The damage he did to her was enough to cause a mental break (when she poured the water on Shouto) and has lead to her being permanently locked up in a hospital. He also physically abused Shouto during their training and lead to him having issues bad enough that he refused to use his fire side. Even now that he’s using it again, it’s clear there are long lasting issues as seen during the joint training arc.

I’m not really sure where I’m going with this and I know it’s a very controversial topic but I just wanted to vent and get this out. I’m just really annoyed at Endeavour and don’t think he deserves all the credit he gets.

- My favourite thing about Todoroki has to be his determination and intensity in whatever he sets his mind to. He’s so determined to become a hero and to be a better person than his father. He has this fiery passion in combat and really just gives it his all

- My least favourite thing about him is probably the way he can come off as cold/rude to new people. While I really can’t blame him for acting that way as I often do the same, he is extremely closed off and often quite blunt in the way he speaks to non friends

- My favourite line is ‘even heroes must cry sometimes’. It just shows how Todoroki has grown to realise that emotions are important and need to be dealt with instead of repressing things. It’s also nice to hear him offering support for his friend

- My BROTP for Todoroki is definitely Todomomo. I don’t ship them romantically, but I love the idea of them being close friends. They’re both rather analytical rich kids and I think their personalities just work nicely. Also their friendship is wlw and mlm solidarity

- My OTP is definitely Tododeku. It’s probably my favourite bnha ship and I just think it’s really cute and a healthy ship for Todoroki. Midoriya was the one that helped him start to process his emotions relating to Endeavour and his fire side, and was probably the first proper friend Todoroki made at UA. I could go on a rant about these two but maybe I’ll make a separate post for that

- My NOTP is Todobaku. I just dislike the way Bakugo treats Todoroki and I think that they show too much aggression towards each other to work romantically. While I think they could be decent friends, I just don’t think they’d be able to let down their walls enough to start anything romantic.

- A random headcanon I have for Todoroki is that despite his often neutral looking face, he actuallt has a lot of emotions and is just super good at repressing/hiding them. Todoroki is probably internally screaming like 60% of the time but you’d never be able to tell

- An opinion I have that is kind of unpopular/controversial is that I don’t really think Todoroki should forgive Endeavour as easily as the manga is suggesting. This man has abused him for years and managed to fuck up their entire family, and I don’t think that behaviour like that should just be forgiven even if he’s acting better now.

- A song I associate with Todoroki is ‘Satisfied’ from the musical ‘Hamilton’ because of this one really good Tododeku animatic I saw with that song.

- I don’t think I can pick just one favourite picture of Todoroki, but just for now here’s this one. He just has such a soft smile and looks genuinely happy which we don’t get to see from him often

I totally agree with Shoto shouldn’t forgive Endeavor. Or at the very least not want a relationship. Just because you forgive someone doesn’t mean you want a relationship.

I just want Shoto to live life without a care about his father, good or bad. (Like that when he said he “forgot all about him” when he used his fire for the first time)
