request: Hello! I’m relatively new to your writing but I absolutely love it, especially all of your Izuku content! Broccoli boi is quickly becoming my comfort character lol. Anyway, I have a bit of an angsty request. Could you write Izuku’s s/o taking a hit for him while they’re fighting a villain and being seriously injured? Later, he basically scolds them and they say they’re not sorry because he does even more reckless stuff all the time and they basically get in an argument? But with a happy ending!

After a pretty calm shift you made your way over to the agency, ready to get done some quick paper work and then go home. The only thing you had to write down was the things that had happened, which was pretty much nothing so you’d be walking out of that building again in a matter of minutes. When you walked towards the changing rooms Izuku, your husband, walked towards you. “Going out for your shift?”, you asked with a warm smile on your face. “Just a quick one, I haven’t been out all day.”, he walked up to you, cupped your face gently in his hands, and placed a kiss on your lips, “Are you done for today?” “I have some paper work but that’ll be done in a few minutes. I had a very uneventful shift, you know?”, an idea popped into your head, “Why don’t I go with you for your shift? Then we can go home together.” A smile broke out on his lips, mimicking the one that you were also wearing, as he shifted around slightly. “Ah, but you’ve already been out. I don’t want you to over work yourself, baby.”, he murmured. “Please?”, you begged him, “My shift was so boring! I don’t even have to write anything down.” “… okay, fine. You know I can’t say no to you.”, he tucked a few strands of hair behind your ear, “Especially if means I get to spend more time with you.” “Yay!”, you exclaimed and pecked his lips, “Thank you, baby.” “No distracting, though. Okay?” “Got it!”

TODOROKI

-There’s never a time he finds you without a book on hand

-It’s a new one every day, and he likes to ask you about them

-Your eyes light up in a way that infects him with glee

-He’s happy when you’re happy :D

-You’re very well versed in the local libraries, so sometimes when exams come up, people pay you to help them navigate the library since you’re pretty fast and know more than the librarian

-You’ve been offered a job a couple times by said libraries, but you politely declined, saying you were enrolled as a hero and it was your dream job

-Your safe spot is the white beanbag in the corner of the adult’s photography area

-It’s so quiet back there, you can’t help but curl up and get lost in your own little world

-Todoroki’s go-to gifts are things that can help you read like a bookmark he saw that reminded him of you or a book light so you can read at night or some sort of book subscription

-He does like reading next to you or with you on his lap in each other’s dorms

-Todoroki will try to not move as to not disturb you from your little fantasy your dazed expression seems to be lost in

-If he finds a book you might like, he’ll get it for you and if you’ve happened to have read it, you read it again and don’t tell him

-You don’t actually own a lot of books, but you still appreciate his attempts!

BAKUGOU

-He’s one to tease you if you happened to be reading in front of him

-He’ll take your book, pull it down to kiss you, look over your shoulder, whatever it is to get your attention on him

-Bakugou’s initial shock at your room is quite humorous

-You have two big shelves with your favourites, a compartment under your bed for more books, and even a few on your nightstand that you’re currently engrossed in

-There are even some still at your parent’s house

-When you get your own place, you promised yourself you’d have a room dedicated only to books, and your own little neighborhood library outside your house so that others could borrow them

-You usually reserve your reading to break times and before bed, but you’d prefer to read more often

-Bakugou tries to be supportive, but he’s not exactly on board

-He’s more of a podcast kind of guy anyway, but he does understand everyone’s got their own thing

-But, he has to admit, when he does pull you out of your trances, he loves the look on your face

-He finds it adorable, the way you look almost upset that he interrupted you

-He doesn’t mind if you sit in his lap and read while he plays online with the boys

-You can hear the headset, and sometimes they tease you but you don’t mind

-If you catch him poking fun at you (rarely you do unless you’re turning a page or something) you’ll say something embarrassing to get the boys on the other end riled up to get back at him

MIDORIYA

-His only concern with you reading is that you might miss class because of it

-He tries to make gestures when whoever is teaching you at that moment isn’t looking so you look up at the board

-You’re pretty good at multitasking, so you’re normally oaky when it comes to listening

-You read more fiction than anything else, and a close follow up to that would have to be any memoirs

-You also are a fan of manga, but you finish those in half an hour and speed through them because of how quickly you can down a book

-You’re caught up on most popular fictional novel’s most recent releases and are usually the first to start/finish new ones

-Midoriya once mentioned there were online forums where you could maybe discuss different theories you had about the books you read and since then, you've been hooked

-Midoriya sometimes gets nervous when you’re around and reading

-he wonders if he just got too boring or if you don’t really want to be around him so you’re trying to block him out with a book

-It’s never either of those scenarios, you just thought that since it got quiet you’d open up your latest book

-You do like to write, but it’s mostly fanfiction

-Deku’s read a bit of it, you don’t have much shame

-Not his cup of tea, but he totally respects that it’s something you’re passionate about

-It’s like him with All Might, and you seem to be unbothered by it

-I’d say you guys are pretty even with your obsessions :)

You could practically see the thoughts rushing in and out of his mind, gears in his head turned as he tried to think of a reason as to why you were so serious. He seemed to find one, his eyes lighting up and then going dark. You could see him deflate.

Doing patrol with you makes him happy.
He likes to walk around with you, holding your hand and looking at the scenery.
Days aren't always like that though.
You were walking past an alley when you heard laughter, you looked into the alleyway and strings just shot out and connected to your joints, it felt like needles through your skin.
You didn't have control over your body anymore, you screamed for everyone to evacuate.
Midoriya heard your scream and ran into the front lines.
He saw the villain on the rooftop with a smug smile on their face, they were holding up their hands which were connected to strings, connected to you.
"you wouldn't hurt her? Would you? Anyway, let's find out" they laughed.
Water started to flow all around your body, coming fromthe alleyways and puddles on the ground.
Izuku didn't know what to do, you didn't want to hurt you.
"DEKU IT'S FINE! HIT ME!" you shouted as more water started to accumulate, rushing around her body, a small sad smile on your face.
He didn't use his strongest moves but got hits on you.
Good thing back-up arrived. The villain took away their hold on you and fled, leaving you a bleeding, bruised and limping mess.
Izuku ran over to you and hugged you tightly, crying into your neck while muttering apologies over and over.
You patted his back and tried to console him.
He continued crying while helped you to the nearest ambulance that was on the scene.

Shoto todoroki

He was speechless.
How did he end up in this situation?
If he just looked at where he was walking you wouldn't be in the hands of this villain.
He was nervous.
But there wasn't time anymore.
Watwr was starting to accumulate, some of your tears joining in the mix.
He thought he would use ice so it doesn't hurt you as much.
He started a defensive strategy instead of hurting you but he did have to get some blows in.
Once back-up came in and the villain let go of your hold, he ran over to you before you could pass out.
He took a closer look at your injuries and saw lots of cuts.
He carries you to an ambulance and stayed close.
Once you were conscious, he became more clingy.
Whether holding your hand or hugging you.
He just wants you close so he could protect you.
He doesn't want that to happen again.

Katsuki bakugo

He was cursing under his breath.
He could've taken the villain head on but the villain was a coward so they made you fight him instead.
"ground zero, go on! Hit me!" you shouted, while a spike of water shot up towards him.
He fought you fair and square, he was blinded by anger.
At end of the battle, when back-up came in and the villain fled like the coward they are, you immediately passed out on the floor.
He took you in his arms and silently cried.
How could he do this much damage? You're never gonna forgive him.
He brought carried you and brought you to an ambulance who immediately took you to the nearest hospital.
When you woke up, he became distant and silent.
He thought you would be angry.
You called him over besides you and told him you weren't angry. You were happy.
He hugged you tightly and silently sobbed.
You patted his back and smiled.
He became more attentive to your needs to make it up to you even when you said he didn't have to.
He also became more alert during patrols with you or even when he's alone.
He doesn't want anything like that to happen to you again.
The villain has to go through him first.

and of course he doesn’t want you to think that he’s the only one that can have you.
but will get slightly pouty when he sees you getting very friendly with another student.
you’d be sitting in the livingroom of the dorms with a few friends
and maybe you were trying to get a reaction out of Izuku
because maybe you were trying to get some more attention from him
and just maybe this was the only way you could figure out how
so you had talked with kirishima about this
and he thought it was very un-manly to do so
but it would be very funny
so he agreed to help you
so during a movie night you plopped yourself down next to kirishima instead of izuku.
and you could already feel his eyes on you
and they stayed there for the rest of the movie
you offered to take the empty dishes to the kitchen
izuku immediately stood up to help you
once you were in the kitchen he trapped you between him and the kitchen counter
“what?”, you’d ask
he’d huff a bit about wanting to spend time with you and how you always sit next to him during movie nights
he won’t stop until you give him some loving
whether that’s running your fingers through his hair, giving him a quick peck or hugging him, it doesn’t matter
he just want to be with you

First Dates

A/N: Sorry for not being active these past few weeks…we’re currently working on some requests but in the mean time,,here’s some bnha hcs I wrote a few weeks ago 😋~~Also yes I already posted the todoroki ones but I decided to compile them into one post ok~~ Anyways, thank you guys for being so patient with us^^ ~Lily

BAKUGOU KATSUKI:

Weirdly enough, he asked you out
He had to like fight every part of his tsundere character to utter out those words
And when he did it was so soft and cute and you just went uwu
Anyway, you wanted to have some fun so you suggested going to the amusement park for your first date
~~Course he didnt refuse bcuz of his PRIDE~~
So there you guys were on the scariest rollercoaster in the park.
As it started its abrupt descent, you swore you could hear a high-pitched (like really high) scream coming from next to you. *cough* *cough*
Next the haunted house
He was unnaturally still throughout the entire thing
You, on the other hand, clung to him like a koala on a eucalyptus tree
Ok maybe you weren’t scared scared but cmon everyone uses haunted houses to get ~closer~ to whoever they’re there with
~~Maybe you were a little scared~~
Even tho youre not a kid anymore, you still made him go on all the kiddy rides with you
You totally sang old town road on the merry-go-round
To a much-annoyed bakugo
BUMPER CARS
You won a teddy bear at one of the stalls and gave it to him as a gift
Cuz he won’t be outdone, he won you an even bigger teddy bear
He scolds you when you end up buying too much cotton candy and popcorn
He scolds you some more when you proceed to finish said amount of cotton candy and popcorn
You were a bit wild but guess what, this tsundere likes you big time and this date did wonders to his feelings
He’d never admit he finds your wildness cute tho
He carries you on his back on the way home cuz youre just “too tired”
He was complaining the entire time tho
You give him a small peck on the cheek before running the short distance home
He becomes a flustered mess and you know it

MIDORIYA IZUKU:

lil’ cinnamon roll was a huge mess while asking you out and stopped midway
So you turned the question back on him and he said yes after turning redder than a tomato
You guys decided on a history museum cuz why not?
At the start of the date, midoriya was more than nervous and was just really uptight
It didn’t help that he dropped his water bottle on you and almost got you wet
He kept fumbling with the tickets too
At the security check, you were pretty sure the guards were looking at you two weirdly
Once you got inside you decided that things had to end here
A quick chop in the head and a short lecture seemed to calm him down
You guys went through the exhibits and fangirled slightly over the different artifacts
He knew some ~~as in a lot~~ of pretty interesting historical facts
You knew a few too
There was the ancient egypt exhibit where you did a mummy pose next to a sarcophagus and had him take a picture
Then you guys arrived at the ancient greek exhibit
You squealed
“Sorry Midoriya-kun,,I just love greek mythology…”
“I-I love it too…”
You guys spent the rest of the date talking about your favorite myths, characters, morals, historical importance, etc.
The exhibit was pushed to the sidelines as you and midoriya started having a long, detailed discussion of the myths
You guys got a bite to eat at the museum cafe
Where you continued your myths talk
In the end, you had fun
He had fun too
~~After he started relaxing~~

TODOROKI SHOUTO:

You were the one who asked him out
Like it was totally obvious to you and everyone that he had a huge crush on you
So one day you just asked him and now here we are
Being the socially awkward little boi he is, you’re the one who has to pick the venue and all that for your first date
It was breezy and all that so you put on an extra layer
What you didn’t expect was that he would appear weariNG A KNITTED SWEATER
Like ok wtf why does it look cuter on him than it ever will on me???
Honestly tho, have you ever seen him in a knitted sweater or any other kind of sweater?? Asjdhaksjdfg ~~topless still best~~
You decided on a chill date so after like 10 nosebleeds upon seeing him, you guys made your way to the park for a nice stroll
You guys started talking and got to know each other a bit more
Or rather, you did alot of talking and he responded occasionally
After a while though, he became more comfortable around you
You guys shared an icecream
~~Indirect kiss~~
For lunch you guys bought some hot dogs and pretzels from a nearby stand
This was the first time he ever ate a hot dog
You were surprised to know this but even more surprised to his reaction to mustard
He blushed a bit too hard when you called him todo-chan
Then you guys went to a vintage bookstore nearby
He’s so cuute when he’s standing there in the middle of all the bookshelves with the sun hitting him like that-
Because of the dust, you sneezed and todoroki said “hmm you have a cute sneeze” omfg
Then you were both blushing, like really hard
It was getting late so you guys decided to call an end to the date
BUT not before he sent you home like the gentleman he is

i’m going to assume that he’s already been on a few dates with you prior to asking you to be his girlfriend (i’m also going to assume you guys are in the same class)
that being said, he’s probably still as nervous if not even more nervous to go on this date than the other ones
i mean seriously, he found that having you say yes to a date before the relationship was miraculous
now you’re going on a date as boyfriend and girlfriend!?
someone get a defibrillator because this sweet boy’s heart probably skipped more than a couple of beats
as i said earlier, he’s super nervous about this date
he knows you like him enough because you’re allowing him to wear the title of “y/n’s boyfriend” but he’s scared, okay?
like what if this date goes horribly wrong and you regret saying yes to being in a relationship?
what if you happen to meet someone better than him on this date?
what if someone ends up trying to hurt either of you?
what if- you get the point
he probably put so much time into preparing for this date so that it’s nothing less than perfect
he might’ve had an itinerary before he decided that it would make things too rigid but he did have it planned (not that you’d ever know)
i feel like he’d choose a “basic” date because he doesn’t want scare you off with anything too crazy (yet)
i see him as the type of guy to take you out to lunch, dinner or even dessert, it all depends on the time of day and of course, he pays for everything
you’d maybe go to a park afterward and kinda just stroll around, talking about whatever comes to mind
he wants to get to know you even better so he’s able to be the best boyfriend possible
did i mention that he would bring you flowers and maybe some sweets, it depends on how he and his wallet are feeling but he brings you something for sure
of course, you take it from him with possibly the most beautiful and warmest smile he’s ever seen in his life
you did try to tell him that he really didn’t need to buy you anything but he insists saying that it’s something boyfriends should do for their lovely girlfriends
you end up blushing at the sweet statement which causes the same red flush onto his freckled cheeks
there’s not much pda going on during this date because he doesn’t want to make you feel like he’s moving too fast
but who would mind some pda with this cutie?
you end up holding his hand while you’re walking along the park’s trail
this makes him so blushy like you’re holding his hand!! out of the billions of people there are on the planet, you’re holding his!
he makes sure your guys’ fingers are intertwined and that he doesn’t let go of you until you’re ready to let go
you guys would have very sweet conversations ranging from things as simple as how your day was to things as complex as the future you hope to have
of course, all good things come to end as you guys walk back to the dorms
he walks you all the way to your door and he’s a bit bummed that your date was already over but he knows he’ll be able to take you on another one asap
he was so caught up in planning your next date that he forgot where he was for a second until he feels a pair of soft lips on his cheek
he freezes instantly
d-d-did you just kiss him!?!?
oh my if he blushed when you held his hand then imagine what he looks like after that
redder than kirishima’s hair that’s for sure
you find it adorable how easily flustered he is at small forms of affection so you make a mental note to do it more often
you wish him goodnight and tell him you’ll see him tomorrow morning before you step into your room
he’s still outside your door, trying to process exactly what happened
it wasn’t until he received a text from you that he was able to move
“thank you for the best date i’ve had so far, hope every single one after this one is just as great 💗”
he blushes again and smiles before replying, assuring you that the next date would be even better
he might be planning to kiss you and hold your hand first next time

No Hug Or Kiss

Midoriya glanced your way once again. It had been a few hours since he'd gotten home from work and you were right where he'd left you: at your desk trying to catch up on paperwork. He thought it was a little funny, considering that today was your day off, and you were working still.

Aside from that, Midoriya couldn't help but be a little disappointed. On a normal occasion you would run to the door, happy to see him. You would greet him with a hug and a kiss, and ask him how his day was. It was something he always enjoyed about his day, coming home to be with you. So at this moment, he was feeling a little dejected.

You hadn't gotten up to hug and kiss him once, only muttering out a hello. You were still sat there, looking stressed and tired. Midoriya swallowed. Not only was he concerned for you being stressed...he wanted you to come and cuddle him. He wanted to pull you away from your work for attention. He sighed and looked away. He couldn't do that...he didn't want to bother you.

Midoriya cleared his throat.

"Still working?"he asked. You hummed.

"Yeah...sorry..."

Midoriya shuffled nervously on the couch. You didn't look up at the noise though you were curious. He cleared his throat.

"Don't you think you should take a little break?"he murmured. You blinked, but quickly returned your focus back to the papers.

"Nah. I wanna get this done." He stifled a sigh, looking away. His brows pinched together and he crossed his arms. I really want her to pay attention to me...

"Are you sure you don't want a break?"his voice came out a little distorted, sounding distressed almost. You looked at him in surprise. You lowered your own, frowning.

"Is everything alright, Baby?"You asked. He went rigid. You noticed the look on his face. "Izuku? What's the matter?" He looked down, his face tinting red. You blinked. After a moment, he stuttered out an answer.

"Y-you didn't come and hug me or kiss me when I got home..." You blinked at him. You paused and smiled slightly, moving to set your pen down. You rolled the desk chair out and stood up, pushing it back in. You stretched, knowing Midoriya was watching you. You walked over to him and bent down, sliding your hand over his cheek. A sigh slipped from his lips as you gently brushed yours over his, closing your eyes.

He pulled you into his lap, happy to have you in his arms. When you broke the kiss he let out a breath. You smiled at him, your hand gently sliding down his cheek.

"If you wanted me to love on you, all you had to do was ask."
