How would he grow feelings for someone:

It’s no secret that Sinbad is someone who has been all over the world, engaged in many adventures, and has met many women. However, when he met you, he knew that you were different.

So, it starts off as a general interest to want to get to know you better. Why are you so different? What sets you apart from the rest? And why did you not instantly fall over yourself to get to him like the others?

As he came to know more and more about you (going as far as bugging Ja’far to look into you as well), he realized that he truly can’t get you out of his head. He wants you to be his. He wants to conquer you, and be the only man who gets to know you on an intimate level. And he wants you to feel the same way.

Before Sinbad knows it, he has fallen for you, and getting you to be his has become his new adventure. It’s a thrill that he hasn’t felt in a long time.

How would he court you:

Getting to know you thus far, he knows that it isn’t going to be easy, but he’s up for the challenge. He starts off by giving you a personal tour of his kingdom, even going as far as to show you more private and secret areas. He knows he’s showing off a little, but he can’t help it. He wants to impress you as well as spend time with you.

After that he’ll move onto stage two, which is coming up with a good excuse to get you to stay in Sindria if you don’t already live there, or if you do live there and don’t work at the palace, he’ll offer you a really nice job. If you work at the palace in Sindria, then he makes sure all of your duties involve him or involve being in close proximity to him.

Stage three are gifts. He loves to buy and give you things, especially rare things that he’s gotten on his travels. He doesn’t mind since he’s aiming for you to be his.

Stage four is Sinbad finding out that none of these tactics are particularly working (and Ja’far knows all about it since he’s been his confidant throughout this entire thing. Willing or not.) So, after remembering the reason that he fell for you, which was mainly due to his interest of you being so unlike all of the other women he’s come to know, he realizes that he has to treat you differently.

Stage five, is Sinbad talking to you and getting to know you on a personal level, which caused him to open up about his past and his troubles, and once you’re able to see him for an actual person rather than just the King of Sindria, you open up too. Before you know it, you’re enjoying your time with him much more, and soon fall for him.

Sinbad wants to move the relationship quickly, and if this is something that you don’t want, you have to let him know. He’ll respect your wishes, especially after all of the work he put in to get to this point.

What kind of person would his S/O be:

Sinbad’s S/O is probably going to be someone who he deems as special and different from the rest. This is man, who has been “chosen” after all. His S/O would have a good head on their shoulders and not be impressed easily by riches. They would be someone who prefers real conversation and can talk to Sinbad about difficult topics.

They would have to not have much of a problem sailing or going to different countries, considering that they are with the King of the Seven Seas. They would also probably be able to hold their own rather it be intellectually, physically, or just in general.

And, after all that Sinbad has been through, he really just needs someone who he can really talk to and understand him. If you are the type of person who can call someone out in order to make them a better person, then that works, too!

His S/O would probably also be a person that wants the world to be a better place, and has a heart for those who are less fortune. They also wouldn’t mind getting their hands dirty in a being a part of the cause to help others out kind of way. (Sort of like how Sinbad helped the fog troupe.)

-So, Keigo waits until the next time you have off from work or university, whichever you do, and plans the day to hang out together.

-But this wasn’t just any typical day.

-He decides to take you to as many foreign places that he can find in Japan. At noon was a vineyard that specialized in making wine the way that Italians do, after that a Spanish restaurant, followed by an English shop. You seem to be having fun, and your knowledge of multiple languages sure comes in handy.

-Then finally, Hawks decides to take you to a botanical garden just to walk around and talk to one another.

-You’re having the time of your life, and right after you both decide where you’re going to eat, Hawks grabs your full attention.

-”Hey, [Name],” he says, causing you to look at him, “ Je t'aime beaucoup,” he starts in French, “Quieres salir conmigo?” And finishes in Spanish.

[I like you a lot. Will you go out with me?]

-You feel your heart swell up, and you involuntarily place your hand on it. “Of course!” you say, sounding much more eager than you want to let on.

-Hawks, however, is more than happy with your response. He pulls you to him and hugs you affectionately.

-“December 28.” Hawks nonchalantly told you when you asked him when his birthday was. You hadn’t expected it to be this close in time nor did you expect the uncaring attitude that Hawks displayed towards this conversation. “Anyway, what do you want to eat for dinner?”

-It was really something that he didn’t seem to care about, and you wondered why. Nevertheless, at that moment, you decided that you were going to celebrate his birthday.

-So, on the day of it, you ordered Hawks’s favorite breakfast and surprised him with it in bed, saying “Happy birthday!” you planned to make the entire day special.

-Hawks is of course surprised, but he just smiles, wrapping an arm around you, and pulling you back in bed with him.

-You both spend a nice morning together before you point out what your next activity is going to be.

-You decide to go shopping since Keigo obviously likes to wear nice and fashionable clothing. You figured that he would like to get some more.

-And you assume right, as other than the fans that try to stalk and hunt him down, Hawks enjoys his time shopping with you. It’s also amazing to see him try on different outfits and such~.

-For lunch, you go to Hawks’s favorite spot, which of course has chicken on the menu.

-After lunch, you decide to take a nice walk in a near-by park, just enjoying each other’s company.

-And then finally, after spending the whole day together, you bring Hawks back to your shared apartment. “You’re so sweet, baby,” Hawks tells you as you go to unlock the door. “It was nice getting to spend the day like that with you~.” He holds you close from behind, pressing into you as he kisses the back of your ear.

-You shiver a bit, but you’re way too focused on your next plans to really register what your boyfriend was trying to do. “Oh, you say that now, but soon we’ll really get to celebrate your birthday.”

-“You see…I’ve never celebrated my birthday before,” he admits, “To me, it’s been like any other day.” You can’t help but to look at him feeling utterly shocked at this. He never did anything for his birthday before?

-“You haven’t?” you ask.

-“No,” Keigo shook his head before smiling at you, “So, really, thank you. No one has ever done this for me before. It does mean a lot to know that you care so much. You must have gone through a lot of effort to do all of this.” You can’t help but to feel touched, and so does Keigo.

-“I’d do this times one thousand for you,” you tell him, before pulling away, “Let’s have this mark the first of many birthdays for you.”

-“I can’t wait,” Hawks smiles.

Hawks with a Reader who is scared of Thunderstorms [Head Canons]:

-Hawks doesn’t really realize it at first, as you try to hide it, but while you’re getting ready to go to bed, collecting your clothing to change into, a thunderous sound is heard.

-You jolt in your place, expression starting to turn a bit nervous. You try to brush it off as you reach for some night shorts, but once again you hear thunder, louder this time. “O-Oo!” you practically jump in surprise.

-And as you’re going through this, Keigo is right behind you, watching this scene unfold. He’s a bit amused, finding your actions to be cute, and it takes him no time at all to put two and two together. “Are you scared of thunderstorms, [Name]?” he asks.

-When you hear his voice, you realize that he’s right behind you. Slowly, you turn to face him, faking a smile. “No-” You cut yourself off, heart nearly leaping from your chest as you hear thunder once again. You quickly look around the room as if the storm is trying to break in.

-Looking back at Hawks, he’s looking at you with an eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face, “Alright, alright.” You know you can’t hide it anymore, “I’m...I’m afraid of thunderstorms.”

-Keigo looks like he just wants to pick you up and hug you tightly, and to be honest, he really does. He manages to refrain from doing that, though, “Are you, baby?” he asks, causing you to nod. Comfortingly, Hawks pulls you into a hug, hand going to stroke the back of your head, “I’m here for you.”

-He pulls back to kiss you on the forehead, followed by your lips. “Don’t worry, I’ll help you get ready for bed, and then we can cuddle together. How does that sound?” Once again you nod, face towards the ground as you’re mostly focused on the scary storm that’s happening outside.

-It would be untrue to say that Keigo wasn’t enjoying this. He likes seeing you looking all cute and vulnerable. Gently, he picks you up and puts you on the bed before getting the rest of your clothing for you.

-Hawks then dresses you and helps you finish getting ready for bed, trying to hide the smile he gets when he sees you jolt a bit every time you hear thunder.

-”Alright, we’re all set,” he tells you as he picks you up, once again. He uses his feathers to pull back the covers on the bed and places you inside of it before getting in right next to you.

-The second that Keigo gets into the bed, you can’t help but to hold onto him tightly, burying your head against his chest. Keigo smiles as he holds you close to him, stroking a hand down your back and whispering sweets things to you like how much he loves you.

-It’s really nice to know that he’s there for you and will do all that he can to make you feel better.

-With Keigo by your side and comforting you, you’re able to fall asleep even with the thunderstorm that’s going on outside.

-Hawks makes sure that you’re fast asleep, even watching you for a bit, before he goes to sleep himself.
