highlights from the terrible fanfic my friends wrote sophomore year of college:
- The names include: Moonshine Frittata Flowerchild Strong-In-The-Arms Lindenshield, Lunar Soliel Eclipse di Venus (changes to Serendipity later with no explanation), and DimmerSwitch Moodlighting Crow Way
- quotes like: "The Bulls their father had fought were vampires OK" and “WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MOONSHINE?!?!?!?!?” said nobody, because nobody was concerned for her, those selfish bitches.
- Somehow we were all NYU freshman and seventh years at Hogwarts. I think it was a study abroad thing?
- Most of the group was very drunk so the plot lines were all over the place
- The one thing we kept consistent was that we referred to the Great Hall as the Super Great Hall
- Katniss Everdeen gets killed twice for some reason
- Literally one of the prompts was “Awkward and Inaccurate Sex Scene.” Sooo….. “they did it in tons of positions but not the one that gets you pregnant” and (after a very graphic and grammatically questionable lesbian sex scene) “they put [condoms] on their arms and fist bumped, to make sure the sex had been safe”
- Every once in a while we urge people to draw fanart (”yo you guys should totally make fan art of the fight scene in which Moonshine kicks Katniss’ punk ass”)
- Creative cursing
- It all ends at a Fall Out Boy concert
