I just finished my "You're My Sky" rewatch caused by The Rebound.
That show was just so gorgeous. The scene composition, the lighting, the photography, THAT PINK.
Actors bathed in flattering golden light in an eternal sunset, minimal makeup that lets skin texture show, the way those lived in and slightly shabby uni buildings were filmed in a way to invoke familiarity and nostalgia for a place you've actually never been to, the magistral foreground-midground-background placement of charactes in a scene, THAT PINK.
Most people slept on this show because they're not really into sports (neither am i) or simply because it wasn't as flashy as other shows, but if you care about cinematography even a little bit, you really should give it a watch, do it for me. And do it for THAT PINK.
So, what'll it be, Go or No Go?
(If you reeeeally need at least Something about the plot, it's set in a Sports Science Faculty, we have a friends to lovers main couple, a bubbly 1st year pursueing a shy senior and 2 "right person, wrong time" runners. AND I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR.)
The sports stories in this are actually good, too, especially the basketball ones.
