I would actually avoid Burt's Bees, becuase it has things that actually make your lips dryer in the long run. I was on meds that stopped all oil production in my face for ~6 months, so I had constantly chapped lips. What SAVED me was Aquaphor (tbc--)
(cont) I bought a small tub of it and just use a finger to spread some on my lips.It's lasted me almost a year and a half now. It's really been the most effective for me in terms of taking bleeding peely lips back to normal.Can also double for hands.
oh here would have made more sense to answer. Besides Aquaphor, avoid anything with menthol b/c it dries out in the long run.

ettrix answered: I’m a huge fan of badger balms (and you can get them at bead paradise in oberlin). I’ve also had good luck with mongo kiss from whole foods.
