I was going through the manga screencapping Nnoitra’s battle with Kenpachi for a request, and I noticed this panel of Orihime basically protecting Yachiru WHILE healing Ichigo at the same time, and all the time standing there alone unprotected.

Panels like this get overlooked in favor of endless ‘Orihime-bashing’ and “Orihime is useless!’ claims and frankly they’re wrong.

If people are going to assume that people are the Sun and Moon based on anything other than Tite Kubo actually saying so or making a Character declare so then you are degrading the special meaning of the poetry.
