Me after Trump's inauguration
I had posts about Palestine on my old blog that went back as far as 2015, which is when I started that iteration of my blog. Sorry you only paid attention when it was something you could bludgeon protesters and socialists with but thats a you problem.
"tumblr author who thinks palestine posts are a russian psyop writes kindle exclusive slavery themed romance novels" is not even a milkshake duck
I just want to hop on here to say that Black blogs suddenly disappeared in 2014 at the height of the Ferguson protests and when the organic, on the ground movement BLM started to take over because they couldn't possibly be anything else but "Russian psyops". This accelerated in 2016, for obvious reasons. And there are STILL accusations of Black accounts being Russians psyops bubbling up on Twitter from very respectable "journalists".
"Black women have been chronicling this phenomenon as long as they’ve been online. In the forward to #HashtagActivism, Genie Lauren notes that hashtags were originally derided as “repeated resistance”: The taking of often myopic reporting of vital Black issues and raising their attention while grounding them in their impact on Black people. Lauren, whose work was instrumental in stopping a juror on the Trayvon Martin murder trial from making a macabre profit grab of a book deal, reveals she had her entire Twitter account deleted for a still unclear transgression. Even the term coined to describe this specific discrimination of Black women, misogynoir, is often used, but usually without mention of its creator, Moya Bailey."
Anyway...
