It’s true, you’ve joined the fandom in a time of upheaval but tbh there’s ALWAYS drama in this fandom. The trick is learning to stay far away from the drama and /those/ fans while still enjoying the best show ever!!
Here’s how I survive:
- Follow your fave tags but use tumblr savior to blacklist the tags you don’t wanna see (Like your least fave characters, ships, etc)
- Follow the drama free CM blogs, @youkicklikeanineyearoldgirl-cm and @cm-daily are my two tops.
- Don’t reblog or tag shit you don’t agree with. It’s better to just ignore it. If you reblog and add your own 2 cents it WILL start drama. Always does.
- Don’t give Anons the time of day (if you do get hate). Just delete them.
- If you follow the cast on social media, just avoid the comments sections. They’re full of creepos that give the fandom a bad name.
- Just be kind and respectful.
Honestly, it’s not that big of a fandom so drama happens. But also it’s a pretty great show so it’s worth sticking around for!!
As far as this blog, I reblog mostly the women of the BAU, Jemily, Queerminal Minds and anything Emily Prentiss.

I see Hotch as a transman aro/ace. He loved Hailey and Beth but is easily happy on his own without the complications of relationships. Trans Hotch is like my favourite thing slvrhvk has created! (Go check out her [Queerminal Minds] tag!)
I see Rossi as panromantic probably. He just falls in love with the person and doesn’t worry about gender. He is also Mom in the BAU team and loves all of his queer ducklings.
