I’m always caught between “wanting to draw certain scenes in a fanfic I just read” vs “being unsure if fanfic writers welcome unsolicited art” vs “too socially inept to ask them” so I’m just stuck with random doodles I never bother to post

I’ve never met a writer who doesn’t welcome unsolicited art.

Also, if they’re writing fanfic… they’re making unsolicited art…

Every fic writer is going to be flattered if you ask or flattered if you just post and tag them.

We write fic because we love the source material so much and it inspired us so much that we had to create something of our own.

Finding out that we did that for someone else too? It feels amazing!

me like 9 months ago: I sure hope they talk about William in the revival at least a little I mean he was so important and I hate how they handled him in the original run me after founders mutation: WHAT THE FUCK WHO DECIDED TO INCLUDE WILLIAM??? I CAME HERE FOR ALIENS?????
