6) Which character (outside of Rhys and Feyre) do you want to see getting the most development? I want to say Cassian because I want more on him, always. But, which character needs it… Nesta and Lucien. I want to hear, from Nesta’s own mouth, what drives and motivates her. I know we have Feyre defending her and explaining her sister to Cassian and Rhys, but I want more from Nesta directly. I want to see how she reacts and deals with everything and see her interact with people. Same with Lucien. Give me more of his depth and his history. I want to see who he is when he is not suppressing all the bad shit that has happened to him. Who is he when he has to face his demons (his family) and also see him start using his fire powers again (THAT BOY HAS FIRE POWER AND I A FUCKING SURE OF IT). I want to see him learn to embrace what being from The Autumn Court has given him, his fire power, and learn that it doesn’t have to be bad or cruel – just because his father and brothers are. 15) Would you rather Nesta train as a warrior, or more of a strategist? Do you think she’ll actually be willing to help out the Night Court? I definitely think she will help the Night Court. She loves Feyre, she respects Rhys and I don’t think she will forget what Cassian did/tried to do for her. She might be angry that being involved got her and Elain into trouble. But she is a smart woman. A damn smart woman, she’ll help them. (Okay, ya’ll know I am still in my heart of hearts holding out hope for Nesta being part Illyrian, like Rhys, because it would be soooo coooooool. We’ll have to wait and see what Nesta is or what powers the Cauldron gave her)High Fae or Illyrian, I think both her and Elain will have to be physically trained. They are at war and I think all of the Court of Dreams can agree the two of them have to be able to defend themselves. But like I said earlier, I hope Azriel put Elain’s natural affinity with being good with people to use and teaches her to play spy. And the same way I hope they utilise Nesta’s brilliant mind. I think one clue is in the “Rage. Power. Cunning.”-line. Cunning. And to add to that, she saw through Tamlin’s glamour which hints at a pretty strong mind and before they met with the queens she had already calculated how many ships it would take to get all of the human off the continent. She is razor sharp and would be an amazing addition to Cassian and Rhys while strategising. Can you imagine Nesta and Cassian with the Illyrian forces? They would be amazing, the Commander and the Strategist. 16) Mor’s power - what would you like it to be?Dude, I don’t even know at this point. I have theorised my way there and back again on this one. We know she holds the power of Truth. But Rhys says he would call her in when Cassian and Azriel are dead, so it’s probably a lot more substantial than just what we saw in ACOMAF.

The real legends surrounding The Morrigan (war goddess/great queen/phantom queen/nightmare queen) is from irish mythology and that she foretells deaths and battles and is a sign of imminent death (she shows up as a vision to those who will die) and she can also influence and sway the outcome of war by flying over the battles as a crow and instilling courage/fear in the warriors. Sometimes she joins the battle directly as a warrior too. So I could easily see her powers being something like that!

Do you think Rhys cares for Mor?

Not gonna lie Nonnie, I am a bit confused over this question. Rhys loves Mor. Rhys loves his little family more than anything and Mor is no exception to that. I think he admires her. I think he trusts her. I think he depends on her. I think he cherishes everything she is and does and stands for. And if you mean “cares for” as in romantically, then no. I don’t think so. The whole mates-thing seems to be a big deal to the poor dude, idk.

SARAH J MAAS WOMEN

Okay y'know what? I have to just take this one minute. One minute to explain.

Remember that scene where Feyre left Rhysand IN THE MUD after finding out they’re mates just to get away and THINK? At first, I thought, “how fucking heartless” and I still think that. But now I think of it in the way that Feyre needed not me. Feyre needed that space, that time, that sense of choice before being “fated” with someone AGAIN. Feyre needed to feel like SHE had the choice, not anyone else.

And when Aelin didn’t let her friends in on all her plans in QoS? At first, I thought it was dumb. But this was HER revenge story. HER chance to bring down the men who brought her down and get vengeance. There was too much at stake in order for her to include them. Aelin needed to do what she did and it all worked out. She even INCLUDED Lysandra because of what Arobynn did to her. She gave Lysandra the chance to get HER freedom and HER body back from that puppet master. Ugh.

Ugh just. Seeing these women with their knowledge of what THEY need first? That’s intense and I seriously love this author and these books for blazing a path for strong women who kick ass and take names and DO WHATEVER THE FUCK THEY NEED OR WANT WHEN THEY WANT OR NEED.

Remember that scene where Feyre left Rhysand in the mud, and Mor didn’t argue or stop Feyre. She saw her cousin and friend, her High Lord, lying weak in the mud and begging. And she still put Feyre first.

God, I love these women.

I wonder what kind of badass shit Mor did in the war to get the title The Morrigan

I googled this after I read about her meeting with the mortal queens and a quote from that scene that sounded familiar:

“Truth is deadly. Truth is freedom. Teuth can break and mend and bind. The veritas holds in it the truth of the world. I am The Morrigan. You know I speak truth.”

The Morrigan (war goddess/great queen/phantom queen/nightmare queen) is from irish mythology! She foretells deaths and battles and is a sign of imminent death (she shows up as a vision to those who will die) and she can also influence and sway the outcome of war by flying over the battles as a crow and instilling courage/fear in the warriors. Sometimes she joins the battle drectly as a warrior too. According to wikipedia she is also connected to soverignty. She is likened with Valkyrias sometimes.

So basically. She is The Morrigan no matter what she did during the war. But seeing as she is The Morrigan she probably did some pretty epic badass shit.

I am pretty sure Sarah has borrowed from this mythology a lot, she likes to use different countries old mythologies, but also put her own spin to it! It would be soooooo much fun to learn more about the early years of Inner Circle in Acotar 3.
