that post about Rhys being Aussie. I think he has an English accent because Sarah j Maas said she based the map of Prythian of the UK, go look

Yeah, she did say that. I always assumed he had a light scottish lilt but seeing as illyians are poc I have no idea what to think anymore.

Haha, okay so. The aussie comment was because he says “mate” as a nickname or title to Feyre (and it made me snort each time), like aussies do in their everyday speech. “Thanks for the beer mate!” I was making fun of it. I know Rhys isn’t actually an aussie.

Except plot twist: Howl and Rhys arrive to find that Feyre and Sophie have already beaten the shit out of them because they’re both bad-ass-mother-fuckers.

Rhys’ portrait - all done! I could literally spend days tweaking this to within an inch of it’s life but I am admiting defeat! (seriously though I will never be completely happy…)

NO ONE SHOULD BE THAT PERFECT.

I mentioned over on instagram I’ll likely be attempting a portrait series for ACOMAF, when I can find the time. Inner circle most likely! :)

So I have a really really dumb question. I loved ACOMAF and by god was the ending a turn of events. I just didn't get one thing though..while Feyre was crowned high lady, does it also mean that they married? Or that their mate bond got verified by a priestess?

This is not a dumb question, Nonnie! There are a lot of ceremonies and stuff we don’t know a lot about in Prythian and the world of the Faes in ACOTAR.I think Rhys little speech in the end of ACOMAF is the only thing we have to go by here: “’If they had removed her other glove, they would have seen a second tatoo on her right arm. The twin to the other. Inked last night, when we crept out, found a priestess, and I swore her in as my High Lady.’ (…) ‘Not consort, not wife. Feyre is High Lady of the Night Court.’ My equal in every way; she would wear my crown, sit on a throne beside mine. Never sidelined, never designated to breeding and parties and child rearing. My queen.”She is his mate, she officially accepted the mate bond by offering Rhys food. She is High Lady of the Night Court, she was officially sworn in by a Priestess. But I think marriage is another thing actually, that would require a proposal and a wedding, another official ceremony. I also think Rhys says “not wife” as a way to ensure us they did not (merely) get married. So, in short: no, they did not get married as Feyre was sworn in as High Lady :)

We found each other. Killed our way across the mountains to get to each other. Turns out, a good number of Illyrian males wanted to prove they were stronger, smarter than us. Turns out they were wrong.
