SelfShip Love Letter Time

(ajdhaj, I’m still a little embarrassed and can’t believe how many people support the SofieDio ship, but here we go.)

To my dearest beloved,

I have only known you for the past six months, but in that short amount of time you have made me feel more wanted and loved than anyone else ever has. With you I feel stronger, freed from the shackles of the past that have bound me for so long. Words alone could not convey how I honored I feel to be worthy of your presence.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you. Of your tight embrace, of the dulcet tones of your voice, or the way in which my small body fits so easily against yours. Words alone could never breach the depths of my love, of my devotion towards you. But I will remain by your side, for as long as you will have me.

Self-Shipping Week, Day 2

For @peachfyzzy‘s selfship week event. How did you get together? Who asked who out? As time goes on he begins to request her to attend to him personally more often. Once the moon rises he has her escorted to his chambers by his most trusted servants, where she sits at his feet until he requires her. In time he allows her to rest her head on his lap while he reads, languidly stroking her hair as she sighs softly in response to his attentions.  When he is tense he calls upon her to massage the firm muscles of his shoulders and back. The softness of her skin upon his own is soothing to him, as she tenderly rubs out each kink from his worn skin. She does not need to take such care with her actions, but she does nonetheless. It is in the end, what draws him to her, the tender care she not only takes with him, but the rest of his servants. More than once he has observed her drawing a fine-toothed comb through Pet Shop’s russet feathers. Combing the bird free of any natural debris or insects that may have burrowed themselves between the falcon’s feathers. She does this with a mother’s care, gently preening the falcon until he is spotless.  Yes, that is who she reminds him of, his own mother. Her gentle, tender nature mirrors his mother’s own. No wonder he is drawn to her then. He is not one to ‘confess’ his affections. He takes what is his, and she already belongs to him. Now, he simply allows her to warm his bed while he rests, drawing her warm body close to his cold one. How he has missed the warmth a living, breathing body brings, and how lovely it feels to come from her. And to have her much smaller body pressed against his larger one, it feels like she was made for him.
