Carnage was Originally Going to be in the Venom Movie?
“The Third Floor,” a company that works on the previsualization and postvisualization of movies that incorporate CGI, shared some of their work from the 2018 Venom Movie.
These previsualization scenes are of the final scene in the movie where Venom faces off against Riot, except here it’s Carnage! This seems to imply that Sony originally had planned for Carnage to be the antagonist of the movie and that they had already created a deisgn for him but decided to replace him with Riot, which would explain Riot’s Carnage-like abilities. I for one am glad they chose to save Carnage for later! You can read the full interview and see more behind the scenes photos from the movie here:
