Two Carnages by Marvel promotional artist, Patrick Brown. The first is more comic accurate while the second bares more resemblance to the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon version and is aimed more towards a “kid friendly audience.” Both have made appearances on Spider-Man merchandise.
Marvel has released news about Marvel’s Spider-Man season 3 titling it “Maximum Venom.” This is what they had to say: “Spider-Man is pushed to his breaking point when Venom summons an earth-shattering threat from its home planet.” Donny Cates, writer of the newest Venom series has also been consulted on the season.

Venom monologues to Spider-Man, from the Marvel’s Spider-Man episode “Venom Returns.”
Clip of Marvel’s Spider-Man episode “Venom Returns,” airing Monday on Disney XD.
Venom haul I got in from Amazon today:
- Hasbro Venom and Carnage 2 Pack: These are just re-releases of the Ultimate Spider-Man figures, but the packaging alone is worth it. I love how they made Venom’s claw part of the plastic for a cool 3D effect.
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Venom Figure: This is a new figure, he has an interesting play feature where you spin that wheel on his back and you can turn his tongue 360 degrees. Obviously it’s not the same design in the show, and the inconsistent spider symbol on the front and back is very odd.
- Venom Chair Cape: This was an add-on item, it’s a chair cape. Might be fun to see it fly when I’m acting silly and spinning in a swivel chair really fast before passing out.
- Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Deck The Malls: New chapter book apart of the also new Adventures line. The story and the artwork is pretty cute. Venom’s characterization isn’t the best, but it gives us a few looks at Eddie and Venom dresses up as Frosty the Snowman and gets terrorized by a drone with jingle bells attached.
Eddie Brock confronts Peter Parker.

Eddie Brock’s appearance from yesterday’s new episode of Marvel’s Spider-Man, “Between an Ock and a Hard Place.”
Eddie Brock appears in today’s second season premier episodes of Marvel’s Spider-Man, “How I Thwipped My Summer Vacation” and “Take Two.” He has no voice actor listed in either episodes’ credits.
A new trailer for season two of Marvel’s Spider-Man debuts Eddie Brock who we previously knew was going to appear due to an appearance in a tie in comic and artist confirmation. Watch the full trailer below:

Thanks to leaked clips of the new Marvel’s Spider-Man cartoon, we now know Flash Thompson is Venom and not Eddie Brock despite other reports and designs for Venom. I see this is as an insult to Flash and Eddie fans alike. Flash fans want to see Agent Venom, and not monster Venom. Eddie fans are still feeling the sting of being left out from Ultimate Spider-Man and now are again being alienated from Marvel despite Eddie/Venom making a big return in the comics just a few months ago and is also in the process of receiving a feature film. To add more insult to injury, Eddie Brock’s voice actor from The Spectacular Spider-Man, Ben Diskin, is also voicing Flash and Venom in this new show.
The Marvel Kids website has updated with new art and character bios from the new Marvel's Spider-Man animated series. These bios confirm the existence of Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady in the series who were previously absent from the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series.
