Remember this Medieval AU? Made some more of that overdetailed Vader to distract myself.

Last week I had designed a medieval Vader wielding a zweihänder and @coralnoodle had made this awesome knight Luke so, I decided to make them fight. Detail shots and progress gif below the cut.
(Prompt was Vader crowning Luke with a crown drenched in blood. Corrupted Kyber crystals from fallen Jedi were later added to the mix. Took a bit of inspo from DAI’s tarot cards)
After Luke falls to the Dark Side one last challenge is the only step left to complete his Sith training. Rumors say the new Mand’alor is hiding a Jedi refugee.
Gift for @softieskywalker for the Winter Luke and Vader Fic Exchange. Took the “Vader training Sith Luke” prompt and went crazy with it.
Just another nightmare... Qui Gon help me.

Painting two characters fully dressed in black was pretty challenging but the final result looks pretty neat.
Kneeling by his side, Vader gathers Luke up reverently, cradling him in his arms as best he can with only one hand left to him. Still in his youth, his son had everything to give - his cause, his power, his loved ones, and yet he had forfeited his life for his father. The father he never knew beyond dreams and living nightmares.
He has nothing but himself left to give.
A long time have passed without posting something. Here, a piece based on @threadsketchier‘s fic: X where Luke dies at the hands of the Emperor. But noone’s ever truly dead are they?
