i think most people accept the idea of "you don't control who you're attracted to" in terms of being gay but imo it can go further. like if you're not attracted to men, but you happen to find a transmasc person attractive, i dont think thats inherently transphobic if you acknoweldge that your attraction is incongruent with their identity. you dont need to run yourself in circles creating qualifiers for your sexuality when we live in a world of infinite gender identites. it's not like you have an inbuilt radar that tells you whether that hot stranger at the bar is a woman or not. man who kissed a twink that turned out to be a butch lesbian that thought he was a butch lesbian. etc.

Hey have we considered that the reason that one guy in the Prequels was really chill about offering some Jedi death sticks isn't some massive conspiracy that the Jedi are all doing massive amounts of drugs, or even that he didn't realize they were Jedi, but instead that arresting people for non-violent drug offenses is fucking evil and the Jedi aren't cops? And the people of Coruscant generally know that as long as they're not killing people the Jedi aren't actually interested in fucking them over?

In The Clone Wars season 2 episode 22 "Lethal Trackdown"-- written by George Lucas, Dave Filoni, and Drew Z. Greensburg -- we clearly see Jedi Master Plo Koon and Padawan Ahsoka Tano use the Force to evade paying the public transit fare on Coruscant -- after checking to make sure that the transit droid isn't going to catch them. There's no plot reason for them to skip the fare, they just do it out of seemingly habit.

The Jedi do not give a fuck about non-violent crimes against the state -- they are actively committing those crimes themselves.

when youre not a native speaker of a language you have two accents, your natural foreign accent and the native one youre trying to emulate. students of english language are instructed to emulate their accents after standard american "news anchor" accent, which i guess makes sense from the perspective of like, being taken seriously and job opportunities and whatnot, but i dont see why you shouldnt have fun with accents in casual conversations. i personally think british chav accents are easier to emulate as a native romance language speaker and much more fun to express yourself especially when it comes to cursing but if i try to speak like it people go "why are trying to sound british you're not british", well oye i'm nit some soddin' american either, innit?
