Just reminded of Tim's preboot contingency list and the fact that Dick was the only one he was sure would never go evil. do you think Tim regretted not putting Dick on the list after he gets Merced in DC vs vampires
I've been really taken with the hardcore "Tim is the normal Robin" thing lately (which is arguably a discourse thing BUT) and realized it would be hilarious if the reason he's tired all the time like fanon portrays him isn't because he is overworking or anything wkwnedkdk he's just the only nocturnal bat who isn't actually nocturnal. Like please the others may be able to power thru on the whim of rage and a red bull but Tim is just not built like that
Just realized the batkids definitely make gags about "tims" and "timbits" around Tim they're far enough north to have Tim Hortons and it just adds onto the stupid red Robin yum gags lbr
Sometimes bad art can really ruin a comic but sometimes... it gives some truly hilarious Gems....
the poses... the expressions... this is so bad i absolutely adore it
(from the most recent issue of Robin 2021)
I maintain a lot of the (male) Robins’ interpersonal issues could be solved by the four of them sitting down and having a bitch fest together about all the shit Batman put them through as Robin
(inspired by @dustdistricts) tim drake has definitely tried to heat food up to actually eat something for once, and set his food on fire by entering his phone passcode into the microwave instead of a time. he ended up and just ate a poptart
some kid just skateboarded down my street crying
HP and the Slytherin Champion Ch 2
This took 20 years WOW that wasn’t intended. Sorry this chapter is mostly exposition but it’s here!! A continuation of the HP/Batfam AU.
In which Harry definitely didn't put his name in the Goblet of Fire and Tim is suspicious.
“Harry Potter,” Dumbledore read out from the piece of paper, his piercing gaze flicking up to catch Harry’s horrified stare. He was frozen- half standing, half sitting as he had been trying to get a better view of the cup. Though he refused to look, he knew that every gaze in the hall had swung around to look at him.
A quiet murmuring was replacing the previous silence, and then a steady clapping rose from the table nearest to him. The Slytherin’s took that as their cue to voice their complaints- upset that their glory had been snatch from them as quickly as they had gained it.
“I didn’t put my name in,” spilled from Harry’s mouth, as he finally turned to his friends. Ron and Hermione said nothing, their stares blank as they both seemed to be struggling for how to react. His fellow Gryffindors had similar expressions of shock, though one stuck out to him.
Stephanie Brown was just as shocked as the others, though it was verging on outrage. As he remembered her close friendship with the Waynes his stomach turned, already anticipating the shit fest this was going to turn into. It was that, more than anything else that shook him out of his frozen state and made him realize that Dumbledore was beckoning him up to the front with a thin lipped McGonagall by his side.
For some reason I just had the image of Jason being really exasperated by Tim's (lack of) sleeping habits and just being like "dammit this is why you're so short"
DC needs to let Tim age into being an adult (as in legal) like he was supposed to before he was 16 again in BRE so that I can fight him without getting arrested for it
When the Robins hang out together do you think they call themselves the 5 of the World (It could be more if you include Duke, Carrie, Helena, etc. but I'm not counting rn)
I’m torn between my headcanon of homoromantic Tim and my love of writing Tim crushing hella hard on Steph
- Batman Eternal #12 (2014)
Tim’s mental double take was beautiful
I made a really gross noise when this happened
- Gotham Underground #1 (2007)
Damn Jim you don’t gotta be so judgemental
So Dick is a total Superman fanboy and Jason is a total Wonder Woman fanboy so logically the third Robin would be a Batman fanboy right? At least that’s what Bruce would hope (though as long as he isn’t a Green Arrow or Green Lantern fanboy he’d probably be okay).
Then Tim turns out to be a fucking Robin/Nightwing fanboy. Bruce finds it very unfair.
I’m pretty sure that aside from some future AUs Tim has always been a teenager in comics and he’s always been a tiny teenager like I need a tiny teenaged actor to play Tim in dccu please and thank you
