Am I the only one looking forward to the fact that Damian is literally a middle schooler now. Like he's in his emo/teen angst years this is gonna be fucking amazing

I’ll always be confused by people who flat out dislike or hate Damian, like he isn’t your fave character? Fine whatever he doesn’t have to be. Do you not even really care about him as a character? Again, it’s your preference. But like what can a 10 year old be doing to make you hate his guts so much? Especially now that he’s gotten so much character growth and literally all he wants is validation from his mentors/parents and to be a better person (which is a lot more than a lot of people’s faves want)??

A while back (like some time last year) I was going to make pokemon teams for a bunch of the DC characters and I was looking up different pokemon not just like moves and types but also like the pokedex entries and shit to see which would fit and like, I’m still laughing because Damian is like the literal embodiment of a Pancham??

Like its pokedex entries are “It does its best to be taken seriously by its enemies, but its glare is not sufficiently intimidating. Chewing on a leaf is its trademark.” and “It does its level best to glare and pull a scary face, but it can't help grinning if anyone pats its head.” and even in the most recent mystery dungeon game all pancham wants to do is evolve and get big and scary. like it hates the fact its tiny and tries to be all big and scary but it just cant yet

(its evolved form is literally nicknamed “the daunting pokemon” and like its known for a violent temperament that doesn’t put up with bullying which like batman man it fits)

Damian would totally be a Pancham and no one can convince me otherwise

Brielle and I constructed an entire Justice League Star Trek AU and one of the things we agreed on is that while Bruce wouldn’t be Vulcan, Damian would definitely be half-Vulcan.
