I remember a couple of days before you passed away. You told me that if I ever wanted to be with you all I would have to do is close my eyes and we'd be together. You said that memories exist outside of time and have no beginning or end. You said as long as I live you'll be with me forever. I miss you, Dad. I miss you until I close my eyes.

YELLOWJACKETS (2021—) THAT '70S SHOW (1998—2006)
I love you. I love you. I love you. I've always been with you. From before you were born...until after you're gone. Since before we ever existed.
RÉV: Episode four montage, I really like kind of iconic images of our characters in a setting that's not totally real or in a light that's not totally real.
LEVINSON: You know, towards the end of episode four, it feels like it's a turning point in the series and the trajectory of the characters. I really wanted to allow for this certain kind of mystery inside the characters to sort of be alive. It became a way for us to sort of be inside of their worlds without having to break everything down on a logical level and to allow for a slightly more metaphysical perspective to take over the show. It became a way of sort of exploring that on a visual level as opposed to just words words words.
Euphoria — You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can (2.04) Marcell Rév (Director of Photography) + Sam Levinson (Director)
I wish you could see yourself the way the rest of the world does.
New Year's, there's something that always feels ominous about the countdown, the wish or the hope that the new year is going to be different. We tried to sort of approach it with that tension, what we know Rue's going through, Jules, Cassie, Maddy, Nate. A party's a sort of easy way to do that.
We wanted to create this montage of a state of emotion for all the characters to catch up where we are emotionally with them, and we just wanted to build this tableau of our main characters for season two.
We came up with this idea of telling it almost in these sorta snapshots, these portraits, these fleeting moments, and so we killed all the lights and put this giant 20K spotlight on that we would just flash for a second. And it's almost as if you were going back and looking at photos and you came across a shot of someone at a party. — Sam Levinson + Marcell Rév (Director of Photography)
