Notice how this is only the second time that Sam and Steve are meeting. In which, Steve visits Sam in his place of work because Sam – a casual runner he met on his jogging path invites him. This scene is so significant because, Steve Rogers has been shown to be pretty closed off and trusts no one at this point. Since he’s lost everyone he loves, he’s been having a really hard time adjusting back into the world. And he just meets Sam and there’s something so charming about Sam Wilson that Steve Rogers can’t help but trust him the moment they meet. Not only that, media has shown us that relationships/friendships between male characters are generally always portrayed with too much testosterone or frat boy culture. But not Sam and Steve. Steve genuinely cares if Sam is okay. Sam genuinely cares if Steve is okay. This is their second meeting and both men are asking each other if they’re happy with their lives and making each other smile. And it’s so pure. The friendship/relationship between Sam and Steve is often overlooked/overshadowed by Bucky and Steve’s friendship, but don’t sleep on them. Sam and Steve are just as significant as Steve and Bucky & Steve and Nat.

Bucky is Steve’s beloved, his husband, his soulmate, his svàss.

Sam can just be his good and devoted friend. It’s good to have an uncomplicated loyal friendship too.

sam wilson is canonically steve’s best friend as well. he is just as important and vital to steve as bucky is and not admitting to that brings up more issues about yourself than about anything or anyone else. 

sam has been there for steve for four fucking years and he is still treated as a newbie that couldn’t ever dare to amount to the paramount that is bucky fucking barnes.  its shameful and disappointing that the fandom refuses to let go of their white ship for two goddamn seconds and look beyond their noses at what is one of the best characters in the mcu.  

liking one character does not give you the right to push another character out of the picture, to overshadow them on a post made for them.  sam wilson is an amazing character and a figure whom i look up to. it doesn’t matter if you don’t love the character like you do another.

Writers are so concentrated on the description of some characters that they use the other ones simply as stuffed dolls for a couple of relevant phrases in the right moments. They do not even think how these characters look in the end from the side.

Look at Natasha.

Natasha holds an important information that could prevent a split of the Avengers, but she does not share it. She knows that Bucky is Steve’s brainwashed friend since CATWS.

She confirms that knowledge in CACW.

She sees that her team is tearing apart. And what does she do?

Nothing.

Is it normal?

She did not say a word to the rest of the Avengers about that. To Tony, for example. Like “Look, this terrorist is Steve’s friend. Tony, he is like Rhodey for you. He is braiwashed, he isn’t responsible for his actions. Maybe we have to help Steve to understand what’s happened with his friend at first and only then shoot from the hip.”

I’m still not getting why Stefan (and others) are still so shocked Damon hated/hates Lily so much. Granted, yes, in that flash-forward he did hallucinate and say he was sorry but i’m not talking about that. They all seemed shocked that he didn’t say anything even remotely nice to her as she was dying. 

I don’t understand it.

Stefan is able to easily forgive Lily because of Damon. It’s obvious from the flashback from episode 7 that Damon protected Stefan from Giuseppe. Damon got all/a lot of the abuse and Lily stood back and did nothing. I’m not saying that Stefan never received any abuse, but I’m betting if he did it wasn’t until after Lily was gone. Plus, Lily is the reason Elena is gone. I know, there’s a huge majority of people who don’t want to even see or hear anything about Elena anymore but I’m not really talking about Elena; I’m just mentioning something that goes along with what i’m saying. Anyway, Lily was the one who gave Kai the idea about the spell/link between Elena and Bonnie.

So, in short, I’m pretty sure Damon can hate Lily as much as he wants.
