That "I made breakfast...if you do that kind of thing" scene in CA:TWS is so funny. CLEARLY Steve had given Sam a very thorough dicking after they met, left before breakfast and then had to temerity to show up AGAIN with Natasha, probably tracking dirt on Sam's clean floors, talking about "can we hide here?".

I know Sam only let them in bc 1. He's nice 2. Might get dicked down again and 3. He wanted in on the trouble bc he's wild.

i know this isn’t like actually actually steve, but i do think it’s funny that when steve says something dumb as shit sam is just like “love a man that’s stupid. that is so sexy, make out with me.”

imagine walking up to pre-catws sam as like a fortune teller or something and telling him "you will meet two men next week. one will be nice and flirt with you a little. the other will rip the steering wheel from the car you'll be driving. guess who'll be your soulmate and who will leave you to travel back in time to the 1950s"

IMPORTANT : I just wanna point out that its STEVE who gets the flirting started between him and Sam at the beginning of the movie.  Sam is just moseying around the mall, going for his run, and this hot guy continually blazes past him had just has to rub it in that he’s totally outrunning him.  And then it’s Steve who stops to chat, makes a teasing little comments, offers friendly competition, and then THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE.  “Oh, that’s how it is?”  Steve, you tryin’ to fuck.  We see right through you.

As the movie progresses, it’s always Steve that seeks Sam out.  He goes to the VA to visit him (just to visit, apropos of nothing), shows up at his fucking apartment when how does Steve know where Sam lives? 

Upon my initial viewing of Cap 2 I really saw it as Sam fawning over Steve, but when I think about it, they’re definitely in mutual like but it’s really Steve that’s got a crush on Sam.  Wants him in his life.  I think the fandom has caught on to this as well because the influx of fic I’ve been reading features a lot of Steve being the aggressor towards Sam, and I like that.  I love it.  I want some more of it.

We need more love triangle fics 🤷🏾‍♀️ I know people think they’re problematic nowadays, but instead of always seeing “Steve is gone so that’s why Sam and Bucky get together” we need more “all 3 of them are alive and kicking, and Steve and Bucky both want Sam cause he’s awesome” fics. I’ve seen “Steve missed his chance with Bucky so now Sam and Bucky are together” stories, but I want to see more of the “everybody loves Sam Wilson” tag. Sam has so much chemistry with both of them, they’re literally perfect for the “love triangle” tag.

Oh when I say love triangle, I mean like old school love triangle. I’ve read the OT3 fics, there’s a couple of authors whose names I can’t remember off hand who wrote some really good ones, but I want to see Steve and Bucky duking it out over Sam lol. I want them on some “you’re my best friend and I love you, but also fuck you” type shit lol. If you’ve read my fic, you know the type of thing I’m talking about lol
