i did all the math for nico's pjo timeline for rick and he should pay me. rick apparently said that nico's birthdate is (undecidedly) january 28th of 1924, but in house of hades, nico states that he, bianca and maria visited diocletian's private estate when he was 6 years old, around 1938, putting his birth year around 1932 rather than 1924. the oath of the big three was formed after the end of world war 2, in 1945, which hades agreed to despite having two underage children left alive. zeus attempted to kill bianca and nico in response, which resulted in the death of maria, and hades then hid bianca and nico in the lotus hotel and casino. if nico was born in 1932, he would have been 13 in 1945, and if he'd been born in 1924, he would have been 21. the titans curse takes place in 2007, 2 years before the 2009 battle of manhatten, meaning nico and bianca were in the lotus hotel and casino for roughly 60 years, not 70 years, and for nico to have been 10 years old in the titan's curse, his birthdate would have had to have been january 28th of 1935. in conclusion, rick riordan doesn't fact check or reference his own work, and he very much so can't do math.

nah i'm good at english and math, he's a professional author with an editor and a huge publisher behind him, this is just lazy

Obviously I know ableism exists obviously I’m aware it’s not the biggest problem in pjo but it’s so written into the story you can’t remove it it’s in every narrative every character every plot point..

Also to be actively reminded of its existence even in this fantasy world like..growing up loving this series but knowing by the nature of the books by the thing said and unsaid, everything implied that like this isn’t for you, you can’t exist here you can’t even play pretend because chb doesn’t have cr*pples it has magic eugenics instead, kids who heal differently, kids who unlike you don’t scar and the ones that do are evil? It hurts man it does like I’m an adult I’m fine but there’s that lil 10 kid in me that knows I’m not going to chb, that knows I’m not going to hogwarts, that wonders why every fantasy doesn’t include kids like me-wonders of our absence is what makes it better for everyone else

ready for another quest?

These are from January 2019, I’ve been meaning to post them since then, but I had no idea how to go about assembling them since there’s so many. I thought I’d just start off with the first 3 I did and see if you guys want me to post the rest of them. Anyway I came up with the idea of “what if PJO were an RPG game” and ran with it. Keep in mind that these designs are a year and half old so they might not reflect how I draw the characters currently.
