If two years ago someone said you’d be dating a blue eyed vampire (who you were madly in love with), you’d give them a look, tell them vampires aren’t real and move on with your life. But here you were, on your annual trip to Romania so your boyfriend wasn’t constantly living in your hometown, though neither of you minded. It was nice to get a change of scenery, though.
Harrison had surprised you, setting up a picnic in the cemetery under a full moon for your two year anniversary. “The moon looks beautiful tonight.” You mumbled, sitting on his lap, your head resting on his chest. “Not as beautiful as you, my love.” He replied, pressing a delicate kiss to your head. “Stop that.” You whined, cuddling closer to his chest. “Stop what?” He chuckled. “You’re only saying that cause you’re my boyfriend.” You muttered against the soft material of his sweater. “Darling I’ve been around for 1500 years and I’ve never seen anyone as beautiful as you.” He smiled, making you shake your head in protest. “See? You can’t even fight back because you know I’m right.” He laughed, making you roll your eyes.
“Actually, love, in all seriousness, I wanted to talk to you about something.” He said, clearing his throat. “Hm?” You replied, glancing up at him. “You know I love you, a lot, yeah?” He asked, making you nod. “Haz what’s this about-” “Let me finish, my love.” He said, smiling at your eagerness. “I want you to stay with me. Forever.” He concluded, swallowing nervously. You gasped, sitting up in his lap, throwing your arms around his neck. “Only if you want to though, love. ‘S a big commitment.” He added. “Haz are you kidding? Of course!” You squealed, holding him close. “Wha- love are you sure? You know what I’m talking about right?” He asked.
You nodded, pressing kisses to his pale cheeks. “Baby I have to bite you. You’ll be a vampire forever. Literally.” He emphasized, making you roll your eyes. “I know that. But I love you. I want this.” You smiled. “What about your friends and family?” He asked. “I don’t have a family, you know that. Barely have any friends as well.” You mumbled sadly, fumbling with his sweater. “Hey, ‘s okay, yeah? You sure you want this?” He asked one last time, making you nod. “Just one bite?” You asked. “Just one bite.” He confirmed. You threw your hair over your shoulder, exposing your neck. “Go for it.” You told him, giving him full permission, wincing slightly when you felt the prick of his fangs pierce your skin. The whole thing lasted quickly, you frowned when you didn’t feel much different after Harrison pulled away from your neck. “Don’t feel different.” you mumbled. “Did it work?” You asked, making him chuckle. “Yeah, love. It worked. You’re mine forever now.” He said, making you chuckle. “I like the sound of that.”
