Imagine Nanami becoming completely and utterly whipped by the new manager at the school. They’re straight to the point, a hard-worker, efficient, and to top it off they’re easy on the eyes. It’s no surprise to anyone when Nanami starts requesting them instead of poor Ijichi. When the sorcerer finds out they collect stationery of all things he has to stop himself from asking them out then and there.

They’re exactly the type of person everyone expects Nanami to be into.

Gojo picks up on Nanami’s crush in record time. He starts off with teasing the man about his crush, then playfully flirting with the object of his affections. Nanami becomes increasingly annoyed, and tells the man to knock it off. However, he never touches the matter with his crush.

It isn’t until Gojo starts dragging them on all his missions does Nanami make a move. It’s one thing to taunt Nanami, but dragging them into you’re wild misadventures? That’s crossing the line in his book. Nanami is quick to apologize to them. He explains as to why Gojo has been dragging them on so many jobs which leads to a lackluster confession. It’s nothing special, but it still does the trick.

“Next time he calls you say you’re out with me.”

Kento Nanami

Nanami’s the type of person who tries his best to keep work and his personal life seperate. He would prefer not to date a sorcerer. They would be a liability if they were kidnapped or taken hostage. Nanami would try to think logically and prioritize the mission, but he’s only human. However, I don’t think he would mind it if they were a healer or worked in a different branch.
He steers clear of shallow and materialistic people. Nanami originally just wanted to live a frugal life on the countryside, he doesn’t see the point in luxury items. He’s the ‘why replace what’s not broken’ type of guy.
Avoids super flashy people. Nanami is a wallflower, and unlike certain people in his life he likes to remain unnoticed. It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for him, but Nanami already has his hands full with Gojou. A second manchild wouldn’t be much appreciated.
Dislikes anyone who places too many responsibilities on children. Nanami was forced to grow up fast because of his line of work, he doesn’t want other kids to suffer like he did. Students should have time to goof off in his opinion!

I feel like nanamis type has to be someone who can take care of themselves so he doesnt have to worry more and someone who he can lean on.

i think that person (more likely sorceror since civilians wouldnt understand his line of work) has to be equally reliable n responsible otherwise he wouldnt even want to get close to someone who adds to his irritations (cough gojo).

i think someone who doesn’t mix sentiment with work would also be something hes attracted to, i personally think ”opposites attract” in this case wouldn’t work well for nanami

and please someone whos into food would be a bonus, no? XD

Omfg I love all of your points! I definitely understand where you’re coming from.

I just have this little idea of Nanami loving to hear about Civilian! S/O mundane days. I feel like he would adore the sense of normalcy in his house rather than another sorcerer. But then we have the other hand where he would 100% be stressing about Civilian! S/O’s safety. (Maybe an old Jujutsu Tech student that left the field would work lolll)

And yes! He would adore someone that could cook.

Nanami pushed up his glasses, “Not we, Y/N and I will go alone to do some reconnaissance.” An inaudible sigh left his lips as Itadori visibly deflated. Were students always this eager to fight curses? Back in his day he only recalled being dragged along by Y/N after he stubbornly refused to take any jobs. The man glanced back at his partner, who merely snickered at his annoyance.

Nanami Kento

Would run in the opposite direction when he first saw S/O. Nanami wants to live a nice, quiet life. Unnecessary luxury items have no appeal to him. If anything, he finds it extremely shallow and a waste of money.
S/O’s personality would have to lure him in. Someone who’s selfless and willing to give away money would attract him. If they have enough money to buy designer clothes, they have enough to give to those who need it.
Begs S/O not to buy him anything besides the bare minimum. He’d much rather spend it on a night out with S/O than a fancy tie.
Lowkey gets embarrassed when they pull up in their car. He tells the people around him to shut up before they ask questions. ~~Itadori was starry-eyed the first time he saw S/O.~~
On several occasions Gojou has called S/O Nanami’s sugar mama– Nanami hates it with a passion and has backhanded him a handful of times because of it.
