Depending on what type of game he’s teaching S/O to play can determine how he is.
Just saying if it’s competitive…it’s not cute. If anything he’s more like a drill sergeant. Think the equivalent of Gordon Ramsey for video games. “Use your ultimate—NO YOUR OTHER ONE DUMBASS”
If it’s a calm video game such as Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, he’s a lot less aggressive…and maybe a bit wholesome.
For anyone who hasn’t played Stardew Valley, there’s a feature to marry other players in your game. Kenma would grind through to get a wedding ring for S/O!! He’d be nonchalant about it as he gave it to S/O.

S/O probably steals all of his clothes. They’re similar in size and build…so why wouldn’t he take advantage of the goldmine that is Kenma’s closet?
Respects S/O’s hobby of skateboarding, but does not want to be dragged to a skate park. However sometimes he is successfully dragged along and attempts to skate. He’s mediocre at best, and always compares it to video games he’s played.
Thinks S/O’s whole aesthetic is cool. The skateboarding, the clothes, the music, and the accessories. However he’s too lazy and shy to dabble in anything besides the music. Probably wouldn’t try to dress alt unless S/O kept leaving clothes in his room.
I can imagine them announcing their relationship to the team and just standing there like👬. Everyone says they called it, and that it was bound to happen. Lev probably thought they were just very close friends until they kissed.
“Oh c’mon Kenma!! Most of the guys on the team are going and it’s Taketora’s treat!!”
Kenma rolled his eyes at Kuroo. Of course it was Taketora’s treat, no one else in their right mind would suggest a maid cafe. “I’m busy after practice.”
“No you’re not! You just want to play your new game,” Kuroo grabbed Kenma’s shoulders and shook him, “C’mon, live a little! Don’t miss out of these chances to make precious high school memories. You’ll regret not hanging out with me now.”
“Kuroo, I don’t want to make ‘precious’ memories at a maid cafe.” Once again Kenma rolled his eyes. His bed-headed friend acted as if they didn’t see each other everyday.
“You need some action!!”
“Kuroo, unlike you, I have a girlfriend…” A blush crept up on Kenma’s neck, even after several months he could not get use to the term ‘girlfriend’, “Please stop asking me.”
“I’ll let you skip jogging at next week’s practices.”
“Deal.”
If only Kenma wasn’t so lazy…it was his own fault he ended up in the frivolous cafe. The worker’s all wore stereotypical maid outfits and spoke with sultry voices. Kenma could barely form a coherent sentence around them, it was just too much for his poor soul.
As a distraction Kenma put his head down on the table. He wondered what S/O was doing today, maybe she was cooking dinner? If she was free maybe they could call as he played video games. He could ask her after she was done taking her customer’s order. Wait.
Kenma owlishly blinked once, then twice. There was no mistake. Two tables ahead of him was his girlfriend, in a maid costume no less. He could barely handle the other servers, now to see his girlfriend in a maid costume? That made him beyond flustered.
“Oi, what’s wrong Kenma?” Kuroo’s eyes flickered over to where S/O stood, “Ahhh…! Over here S/O~”
After excusing herself from the customers, S/O walked over to Kenma’s table. She noticed Kenma’s blushing state and smiled, “What can I do for you master?”
If he could survive this visit, perhaps Kenma wouldn’t mind visiting again.
He’s probably listened to a few alt bands…so he can handle any music S/O throws at him.
Would pierce his ears with S/O! He probably would steer clear of any other piercings though.
He has the habit of making lewd comments on certain accessories S/O may wear. (Ex- chokers, skirts/pants with chains, etc) So, S/O might just have to knock some sense into him.
Let’s S/O dress him if they’d like. He doesn’t mind rocking a skirt, but just an FYI he sends pics to Bokuto.
Enjoys it when people stare at S/O when they’re with him. Makes him prideful knowing that S/O is his. Anybody can stare, but they’ll see his arm around their shoulders.
Y’know that ongoing joke of Bi Alt! Girls with their gamer boyfriend? That basically describes their relationship.
He probably has several pieces of clothes that can be styled alternatively. (The amount of graphic t-shirts he has is amazing-)
Has a lot of respect for S/O if they wear makeup daily and wear platforms/heels. He’s a lazy person, so he would never go out of his way to make himself look nice. So, he respects the amount of time S/O takes to dress themselves.
Let’s S/O bleach his hair if they know how to do it. He begs them not to dye his hair any other color, he doesn’t want to stand out at all.
Doesn’t mind alt music, he probably listens to a few bands on his own time.
If S/O garners a lot of attention he gets awkward. Especially if they’re in public. So what they don’t dress ‘normally’ everybody doesn’t need to stare…
Following the previous headcannon, if S/O did get a lot of stares, Kenma would probably avoid them at first. He doesn’t like attention. So unless S/O approaches him, he isn’t going to talk to them.
He most likely met S/O through streaming, whether it they be mutuals or fans asking for a collab.
He tries to keep the romantic side of their relationship on the downlow. Kenma likes to have a private life separated from his streaming.
Him and S/O most likely have fan fiction written about them. He finds it very weird…
He’s always searching for the latest multiplayer games to stream with S/O. If he can’t find anything new his go to is always Minecraft or Animal Crossing.
Gets very competitive if he were to play fighting games with S/O, though afterwards he likes to cuddle.
