Kenma didn’t like losing. He didn’t like losing in volleyball, but he especially did not like losing in his video games. When you dedicate almost every waking moment to a game, it’s a slap in the face when your progress goes up in flames. So, whenever defeat irked Kenma, he’d retreat into the arms of his lover.

They were warm, and their voice did wonders to soothe him. Kenma would cling to their side like a koala, as he buried his head into their torso. His partner never annoyed him with unnecessary questions, but instead opted to run their hands through his hair. The best part, however, was when they would kiss his lips.

S/O’s kisses were always soft and kind. The icing on the cake was the distinct sour candy flavor that they left behind in his mouth. It reminded him of late night video game dates. The kind where you would break daylight running off of insane amounts of Mountain Dew and candy. The crash afterwards always hit hard, but the enjoyment of spending time with one another always encouraged them to plan another date.

Losing a game was never pleasant, but S/O’s unique kisses always cheered Kenma up.
