Kenma Kozume

Kenma never cared for rumors or gossip, so he wouldn’t have originally known if S/O had some about them.
He notices when he starts dating S/O. They get odd looks when Kenma walks with them in the hallway, or he hears whispers when they eat together at lunch.
Overall he gets annoyed rather fast, but will keep quiet if S/O explicitly tells him so.
It isn’t until Taketora makes a comment that Kenma snaps. It’s supposed to be a crack at the rumors about S/O, but it was in bad taste.
He’ll defend S/O to the death. Nobody should be saying anything if they don’t personally know them.

Kenma Kozume

Kenma didn’t like losing. He didn’t like losing in volleyball, but he especially did not like losing in his video games. When you dedicate almost every waking moment to a game, it’s a slap in the face when your progress goes up in flames. So, whenever defeat irked Kenma, he’d retreat into the arms of his lover.

They were warm, and their voice did wonders to soothe him. Kenma would cling to their side like a koala, as he buried his head into their torso. His partner never annoyed him with unnecessary questions, but instead opted to run their hands through his hair. The best part, however, was when they would kiss his lips.

S/O’s kisses were always soft and kind. The icing on the cake was the distinct sour candy flavor that they left behind in his mouth. It reminded him of late night video game dates. The kind where you would break daylight running off of insane amounts of Mountain Dew and candy. The crash afterwards always hit hard, but the enjoyment of spending time with one another always encouraged them to plan another date.

Losing a game was never pleasant, but S/O’s unique kisses always cheered Kenma up.

Haikyuu Characters that would be in a QueerPlatonic Relationship:

Kozume Kenma. He’s the type of person who’s fulfilled just spending time with someone. He never liked feeling pressured to show affection to a partner, so he would thrive in a queerplatonic relationship.
Tendou Satori. Surprise surprise! He’s open to have any type of relationship, so him being in a queerplatonic one isn’t surprising. He enjoys platonic cuddling so much! (He’s the type to lay his head or legs on your lap while he’s watching tv)
Akaashi Keiji. He’s never really cared for romance, especially labels. He tries his best to live in the moment (as he’s the type who tends to overthink), so being in a queerplatonic relationship is perfect for him. He doesn’t have to meet certain expectations, and him and his partner can create their own.
Takeda Ittetsu. This man is made to be in a queerplatonic relationship. He’s so busy that he can’t give the proper time and attention to a romantic relationship. In a queerplatonic relationship he’s able to relax more!
