WORST MOM BRACKET

Well, folks, we battled the most wholesome and most sweetest moms. Now it's time for the opposite extreme! The Worst Mom Bracket!

General rules;

1. Fictional moms only, don't submit real people pls.

2. The characters do have to be mothers in some form whether biological, adoptive, or just a strong maternal role model.

3. BAD MOMS ONLY, your mom in question doesn't have to pure evil, but we need to have actual proof of her being a bad parent. And applying the inverse of the Best Mom Bracket rule, your mom doesn't have to be a bad person, just a bad mom. Your character still qualifies if she is generally nice and heroic, but for whatever reason, fails as a parent.

4. Following the above rule list at least one or two examples of said bad parenting.

5. For personal comfort, if you mom has committed any form of SA, especially CSA please keep it brief and no not go into graphic detail even if it is to demonstrate how awful the mother in question is.

This one's tough. From what I've heard, Morticia's better at actually BEING a mom, but Nani's circumstances are far, far, FAR harder, and she's gone above and beyond (especially once you, yourself get to be 19, and you realize that WOW, she may technically be an adult, but she wasn't that old when she and Lilo were orphaned and she took custody of Lilo.

I think that even if we're factoring in a bonus for "trying their best given the circumstances", Morticia still takes it, to be honest.

Nami is the only one there for Lilo and probably feels a sense of obligation. No slight on her, just that "Either I take care of this kid or the State does." isn't much choice at all. Meanwhile, Morticia gets directly involved in her children's lives when she very much doesn't have to.

She's a member of a rich family. They have a butler. There are other relatives in the household. Despite that, she's never depended on money of family to take care of maternal duties for her. She could ship Pugsley and Wendsday off to boarding school. She could be gone with Gomez all the time traveling the world. Instead, she is a hands-on parent and stay at home mom. She could be anywhere, doing anything, but she makes herself available for her kids.

This one's tough. Idea: Morticia adopts Nani and Lilo. Let Nani stop being a parent for five seconds and get to have some blessed relief, and Lilo gains a support structure that's not one woman barely holding it all together.

Honestly, Lilo would fit right in with the Addamses, as would Stitch and the rest of her alien friends. I'd hope that Nani would be inured enough to weird stuff by the time the adoption went through that she doesn't have a total breakdown (or pretend she's not having a total breakdown), but otherwise I'm entirely on board.

Thinks she is a bad mom but genuinely tries her best and wants to be good for Anya.
