Most of the fae are laid as eggs, but batfae are born live and stay clinging to their mother for most of their infancy. Birdfae have the least amount of eggs on average - 1-3, dragonfae can have up to 5 on average and bugfae can have the most at around 9 for spider, 7 for winged and 6 for armoured at the most.

orphaned batfae are placed in hammocks to mimic being held by a parent. Dragon and birdfae bond during hatching, so it’s better to find a carer before the egg hatches, if separated after the bonding or not cared for properly will lead to them being antisocial or easily angered and closed off. Bugfae are the least likely to have bad impact in separation from the parents but can still have separation problems. Most winged bugfae eat a lot in the first 2 Month after hatching for Metamorphosis, they’re the only fae that do this and not all of them go through it.

Pretty much all the basic stuff is shown on the picture above. Tho not all hybrids actually look like so, most just look after one of the parents.

Wilson on the other hand loves the moments they just cuddle and preen together, contact and care is what makes wilson feel loved<3

Wilbird: he’s already kinda short and the birdfae are the smallest fae so he’s child-sized (remember; he’s mostly fluff) 

Willow: she’s a small dragonfae cause didn’t want to make the difference between wilbird and willow too big, and she needed to still be a fair bit smaller then Maxwell (dragonfae can be naturally as short as wilbird or as tall as Maxwell because they’re a mix of all the species -mainly bat+bug)

Maxwell: he’s a big man, that and bugfae are largely a very big type, but it’s not uncommon to see small bugfae, now he’s only a head taller then wilbird in most cases but that’s not his full hight, while standing straight he’s shoulders above Wilson as shown above.

She’s actually correct, willow could beat them both if she really wanted to, max would be a little tricky tho because of his shadow magic. But in a battle of minds max would win, Wilson’s got brains but he doesn’t have the manipulative mind that max has, so can’t get out of the situations he’d put wil in
