I hate this dragging out business! I want Bonnie back and there were so many unexplained plot holes on that front today that got me so mad. Not to mention, exactly what you said - Bonnie is always putting her ass on the line for everyone and no one wanted to do anything for her?! Where do everyone's loyalties lie?! Seriously, Damon was the only one to actually say that. And Elena's selfishness is beyond irritating. To think I was starting to like her again. That lasted like 2 episodes.
(Get ready for a rant though, seriously.)
