you know how Jacob said “I’m gonna fight for you, until your heart stops beating.” and how the whole series he’s literally trying to get her to see everything she will be missing, all the people who care about her, how important and loved she is. because she wants to die, constantly provokes death and thinks she’s unworthy of living at all. he tries so hard to put her back together, to mend her. he does everything he can, pulling her out of the ocean when she’s drowning, giving her cpr, making sure she doesn’t freeze, spending quality time with her, trying to remind her all the great qualities she has and how life is worth fighting for and living for, how it’s so priceless and shouldn’t be tossed away… even when she’s already dead he tries to force air back into her lungs. even when she’s dead, he’s still fighting for something that no longer exists. anyway,

Crying thinking about Jake BEGGING Bella not to go to Volterra cause he thinks it’s likely the last time he will ever see her alive. All he did was fight for her. Could you imagine that tho? Knowing what you know about vampires and how they literally killed your tribe and are the literal reason you turn into a giant wolf to PROTECT HUMANS. All he fucking wanted to do was PROTECT HER. But she simply did not think. She was suicidal and again she was willing to die for a 110 year old who left her for dead (Literallt bc she would’ve died from laurent)

I see people say they hate this scene cause he’s trying to control her and is acting like a incel by slamming the door in the movie etc etc but ok imagine yourself in this situation??? She was gonna likely DIE. For some loser who left her ass. So frustrating to witness it.

she is literally continuously trying to kill herself. he’s deeply concerned for her safety and well-being. this would be like saying Charlie is an incel, granted he knows nothing about what’s really going on and Jacob does. and people can’t use dumb excuses because Jacob has known Bella since he was a little kid. all Jacob ever did was try to keep her alive the whole series and he failed and it sucks because he narratively shouldn’t have. Bella was just acting like an irrational teenager thinking she should throw her life away for the first guy that shows her attention. honestly, Jacob acts way more mature than her in this regard. Edward literally left her knowing Laurent and Victoria were still alive, lol. if it weren’t for Jacob and the wolf pack, Bella would have died multiple times over.

me in my room giving a speech about how they purposely removed important key traits about jacob from the new moon movie that made him a better person in the book like how he told bella he would be her friend if that’s what she wanted but he would wait forever to be a romantic partner for her if she ever decided that but he wasn’t trying to push her to be in a relationship and how in the book bella doesn’t have to tell him that she doesn’t like music anymore he just figured that out on his own and in the book he doesn’t bring up edward to her randomly like that scene where he talks about “that cullen guy” and her smile fades that doesn’t happen in the book he literally avoids mentioning edward because he can tell that would make her really upset and he knows her so well and he’s a great friend to her and even if you don’t ship bella and jacob together you end up loving his character while you read new moon and-
