Sketched out one of my older whumpees, might color it later.
This is Cyrus. He's actually surprisingly similar to Melchior, but I guess that's just telling of my favorite tropes (villain whumpee, a whumpee who was previously powerful and is stripped of that power, reluctant caretakers...)
If I can ever decide on a style for this comic, I may draft up a few panels just for fun 😊

psyching myself up to sketch out an action sequence and I took a quick break. Stay tuned, the story continues on Sunday!
picture the whumpee and whumper starting out as lovers...
After one fight too many, whumpee ends things and tries to leave, but whumper is having none of that. They hire a thug to track down and jump whumpee, then play the 'healing angel' role to win them back.
Of course, their reconciliation wouldn't last long, leading to more and more elaborate actions on the whumper's part.
Arranged accidents.
Hiring another thug to beat them until they can't walk.
Anything to force them to come crawling back.
Superpower!whump
- A fire elemental who gets captured is kept in a prison that’s always wet. Cold water drips from the ceiling. Several inches of water covers the floor, making it impossible to lie down and sleep.
-A mind controller who hates their ability is tormented until they’re forced to use it to defend themselves, then left with the guilt.
-To prevent a person with healing powers from assisting the heroes, the villain cuts their hands off.
-A mind reader is drugged so they’re unable to stop hearing the thoughts around them, then blindfolded and brought into a room where their loved ones are being tortured.
