@pablo-juatin (his profile has some N-S-F-W content) submitted:

In December 2017, I was the heaviest I’ve ever been and I wasn’t showing signs of getting it under control, let alone losing any weight. I wasn’t taking any pictures. I wasn’t happy.

My best friend asked me to be his best man and I decided I didn’t want to be immortalized in his wedding photos being 272+ lbs. Among some other reasons…

I changed my diet. I started waking up at 4 am and going to the gym before work. And after work. I started intermittently fasting and eating keto. I ran a 5k. I’ve changed my life for the better and that’s not something I usually do. I went from not looking in the mirror to smiling every time.

A week from tomorrow we get on the plane. I wanted to lose 100 lbs before the wedding but I only made it to 80 lbs. I’m proud of where I’m at but I’m far from finished.

veganchesley submitted:  Exactly 1 year apart, approx 73lb weight loss. I still would like to lose 10-15 more lbs and then I’ll continue to focus on building more muscle. I am doing that now, however it’s hard for the body to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. I’m not happy with where I’m at. It’s hard to have patience because this is a LONG process. Lots of sweat and tears. It’s been very hard, but I have to keep going no matter what. Like today. I’m exhausted. I have an injured knee but I still dragged myself to the gym.

Some times you need to put pictures side by side to accept you have made progress.

The dress on the right is a 2x!!! I normally would wear a 3-4x!

A little unusual for a progress picture but probably the part of my body I‘m most proud of this year. I carry a lot of my weight around my thighs and butt so I was thrilled to see that the pants DO fit better after four months of working out. Pic on the left was around 85kg, pic on the right is 76kg) Non-scale victory 2017 💪🏻💪🏻 I do a mix of cardio, Jilian Michaels, weight lifting and a clean ketogenic diet.  3 months, first pic I was 130lbs and in the second I am 112lbs. I’m 5'2 and 20 years old. I used myfitnesspal and I go to the gym! I still want to lose maybe 2-5lbs and get more seriously into my running and weightlifting.

I love this blog thank you for running it!
