Got to love old timeline pictures. 😁 Of course back then I didn’t go to the game because I didn’t fit in the seats.

Looking great girl, congrats! 💙
Me at 21 vs me at 27.
2017-2019 life has changed a lot since I decided to take myself out of a body that held me back. I’ve done things I never thought I would. I enjoy things I swore I never would. My world is expanded. Things are confusing at times because the weightloss is intoxicating but I’m healthier then I’ve ever been. I dont want to go back to feeling out of breathe when I eat or get in and out of my car. I dont want to go back to sweating in any room year round. I dont want to go back to not being able to hike 10 miles. I dont want to go back to that oversized and weak body.

weary-bones submitted: I’m 5’7 and my starting weight was 169lbs by the time I reached the photos on the left I was 155lbs. I’m now at 147lbs and do yoga, go running, and weight-lift. I’ve also started cutting down on eating large portions and as often. I’m also a type 1 diabetic with hypothyroidism so my weight and health is a constant battle

veganchesley submitted: Exactly 1 year apart, approx 73lb weight loss. I still would like to lose 10-15 more lbs and then I’ll continue to focus on building more muscle. I am doing that now, however it’s hard for the body to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. I’m not happy with where I’m at. It’s hard to have patience because this is a LONG process. Lots of sweat and tears. It’s been very hard, but I have to keep going no matter what. Like today. I’m exhausted. I have an injured knee but I still dragged myself to the gym.

jesssmitty08 submitted: 40 lbs lost (~ 18kg) and gained such a new look on life. Went from drinking 3-5 times a week and binge eating, to being extremely dedicated to the gym and what foods I chose. SW: 173 lbs CW: 133 lbs. I don’t have a goal weight because I won’t be defined by a number on the scale. Watch what you put in your mouth, put in work at the gym, and the results will show. 😊 ❓ How’s she looking? ✅ Reblog and Like if she should be proud. 🤳 Submit your own before and after pictures to be featured on this blog 📸 New Motivational IG: stepup365

Still got more to go but this is a couple of months difference. 1200-1500 calories a day, walking more everyday. Not much of a difference but I think there’s some in the stomach area.

2015 > 2017 175lbs > 105lbs Tan > no tan
Two summers ago we went to Hawaii, and these “before” pictures are old remnants of that vacation. I don’t even keep them saved to my phone because I was so humiliated by myself; my mom had to send them to me for this.
I wore that sweater in sweltering heat because I was ashamed of my upper arms. I remember walking back to our resort one afternoon and my inner thighs were sweating and chafing so badly that they bled, which caused me to waddle-walk in a ridiculous way. My family kept asking me what in the world I was doing, but I couldn’t stop because it hurt so badly otherwise – I was embarrassed and in pain.
I was categorically obese, and the years I spent like that were some of the most unhappy and unhealthy years of my life. I was anxious and depressed, I had abysmal self-esteem, and I had no idea what to do.
This past year, I changed my entire life. I overhauled my eating habits and I got active. I honed in on personal growth and made big, huge adjustments to my lifestyle and my social circle. I have achieved more than I thought would ever be possible.
Today I am a significantly happier, healthier, more confident woman. I feel proud of my achievements and I feel more capable as an individual. I have fought hard to get to where I am; this is a battle that never stops, but I am happy to continue.
If you are wondering if it’s possible: it is. If you are tired of being stuck: make the change. If you’re in a bad place and you want out: take the reins.
Face progress! Pic on the left is from 2014, when I was at my highest weight of 220lbs. Pic on the right is from a few days ago, at 139lbs. ~80lbs difference!
Having huge hips took away my self-confidence, now I can finally see my muscles! Every winner, was once a beginner ❤
Submitted: 20 year old man: 6 months ago, to today. 145 overweight at 5'2 on the right and 112 of pure, tiny muscle on the left. I’m really trying to bulk up and I’m going to be buying weights for home next weekend to work on my upper body strength. Switching to vegan and working out nearly every day for only 30+ minutes a day has made a huge impact on my body and how I feel. Being masc, having huge hips takes away my self comfort. Now I’m proud to show my body progress! I’m actually in my healthy weight range now and my doctor says I’m in perfect health: high protein, high iron where I was once anemic, and I can’t deny that my thighs show the most progress! In a month I can’t wait-I’ll be buying a rock-climbing gym membership to celebrate how far I’ve come and my birthday!
