I’ve changed my mindset from WEIGHTLOSS to LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
This is my face comparison.
Height: 5 ft 8 inch Start Weight: 228 lbs Current Weight: 206 lbs -22 pounds
I still have more fitness goals I would like achieve and am hoping to capture it on my YouTube channel (username on pic) and talk about my experiences.
The main thing I focused on was eating to fuel my body not just restricting calories.

the photo on the left was taken about 10 months before the one on the right. however, i didn’t decide to change my life until a few months after the photo on the left was taken. i didn’t take a before photo and honestly this picture probably represents how big i was much better than a self-taken mirror pic.
my strategy starting out by changing the way i ate and changing my relationship with food. i looked at food as the enemy. now i look at food as a friend. as something that nourishes me and energizes me and fuels my life. because IT IS. working out is also important. it doesn’t matter if you walk, run, cycle, lift weights, etc. just get that booty moving. the biggest part of losing weight is eating right. i have majorly struggled with binge eating for the past 8 years of my life. if i can do it, you can too. :) ❓ How’s she looking? ✅ Reblog and Like if she should be proud. 🤳 Submit your own before and after pictures to be featured on this blog 📸 New Motivational Instagram: stepup365
Anonymous submitted: Height: 5'8" Highest Weight: Unknown, 220ish CW: 145 This took a really long time. Long enough that nobody uses Photobooth to take before and after pictures any more… But the long burn was worth it. I worked out a lot of personal problems and didn’t shock my body. People told me I couldn’t, but I did, and I really hope my journey might inspire or motivate someone else struggling out there. You’re okay, and you’ll be okay. Anything is possible. Much love.

I have lost 30 lbs in about 6 months. I still want to get more tone, but I can see a big difference. I went from a US size 14 in jeans to a size 6.
I am very happy with the progress.

Tracking my calories and changing my diet was the biggest help. I also slowly added in strength training/cardio as I made more progress in my weight loss. Still have a ways to go but looking forward to continue my healthy lifestyle and eventually reach my goals! Thanks to all my friends/family for the support :).

Hello all! I’m new to Tumblr.
5'8, currently 230 lbs. I’ve lost 55 lbs since Jan 2017 (and 70lbs from my highest weight) from VSG surgery, eating well, and working out. I don’t have a lot of before pics as I typically avoided the camera but I’ve been digging through to find some!
I generally start my morning with coffee and half & half and a protein drink, mid-morning snack is typically a Sargento Balanced Breaks, lunch is usually an egg fried in avocado oil w/ a morningstar farms sausage, and then dinner ranges but is usually a protein and veggies with a small amount of starch.
I’m thrilled with the results so far!

In the first 6.5 months of 2016 I lost 100lbs! Since then I have managed to maintain, but still have approx 20lbs to go until goal.
As cliche as it sounds, all I did was change my diet. Plenty of veg, even more water and less lounging around!
GOOD LUCK to anyone and everyone on their weight loss journey - you got this :)

Unfortunately the photo on the left isn’t me at my highest weight, but it’s not toooooo far off.
Over the last 7 months I have lost pretty much 100lbs and am currently sitting at 152lbs from 248.5lbs.
Admittedly these past 2 months I have been a lot less strict and have only lost 11lbs, but I’m 19lbs away from goal (omg) - so I don’t feel so bad for it 😉
Very cliché, but all I did was change my diet to 95% clean (I will never give up cheese lol). No exercise until about 5 months in and even now it’s definitely not as often as I should be!
Feel free to ask me any Qs you have and I’ll answer as best as I can!
Good luck to anyone & everyone who is about to start or is already on their weight loss journey!!!! 🍀🍀🍀

After spending 15+ years hating my appearance and myself, it was time for change. Over the course of 1 year I lost over 60+ lbs and have never felt better. Changing my life style was the best decision I’ve ever made, and it’s a lifestyle I’ll follow till the day I die. Still learning to love myself for all that I am (curves included) 😀 hoping to encourage/help others with their journey!

Since getting my license I became a drive thru addict, any time that I wanted I had access to any food that I could think of. This lead me to being more overweight than I have ever been and for the first time in my life, medically obese. My skin was not coping from the weight gain and stretch marks had started to appear at the front of my stomach instead of just my hips.
For the first time after the many times that I had tried to lose weight for vanity reasons, I started eating healthier due to fear for my own health. I know I haven’t lost a staggering amount of weight but as I continue to make healthier choices each week and watch the numbers of the scale drop, it shows me that I can do anything that I set my mind to.
