Shadow reluctantly working with robotnik because he was promised the safety of someone he knew (thinking about maybe having it be like cream in the sense shadow wants to protect her and the sibling relationship they have because she reminds him of someone he lost) but then after wedding bell blues when queen aleena returns he deflects

or because he used to work in the palace before the prophecy and is just acting like he wants to be on robotnik’s side but knows the triplets will return to the throne

tails is like the band manager (also helps with setting up stages)

rouge and knuckles are where the crew get their concert gear (knuckles gives them amps and all that stuff /rouge is their stylist)

Blaze was a royal guard and guides the triplets when they need her (she’s in hiding as well but comes out often to help)

Team chaotix being like a rival band or something (vector on vocals, espio on base/vocals and charmy gets the keyboard)

amy is like a groupie, one of the bands biggest fans

not entirely sure about the rest yet

Take a very late day 1 (Shakespeare) of shadamy week because these two are my favourites!

Also sonic and the black knight lives rent free in my head and it has a lot of potential for angst.

Lady of the lake is what most people called her, a title she had taken with pride. Was it one she deserved?

Maybe not.

Nimue never could stop herself from feeling guilt for what she did to Arthur, she was the one who gave him the sword after all.

A tragedy in itself, now she had cursed the poor king. His knights serving his corruption instead of his valour, which is why she was here now.

Facing off against Lancelot, facing a loyal being because of her misdeeds.

“Lancelot, I know why you’re here.”

A scoff, he unsheathes his sword. The knight knows what she done, knows of her crime.

He’s here to “set things right. Once and for all.”

So this is where she could meet her demise, for cursing her beloved’s king, due to his own corrupted heart.

Nimue was to die at the hands of her love, the one who held her heart in his hands. The one who was about to shatter it in turn for her own crimes, for punishment.

“So be it Lancelot, but let me indulge in one last request before you cut me down.”

His head juts to the left, his way of saying continue.

“Let me kiss you once more, my dear dear Lancelot.”

Nimue takes a step, he mirrors her until they meet somewhere in the middle, opposite the lake she had been known to guard.

For their last kiss it’s bittersweet, soft and painful, harsh but smooth.

It was full of love and heartache, for they no longer were aligned. No longer were they a constellation in the sky.

They were two lone stars waiting to be found again.

“I’m sorry, dear Nimue forgive me for what I must do.”

He reaches towards her cheeks, wiping his thumb across the soft skin.

“I love you, dear Lancelot.”

No reply, but the sword in her chest tells her otherwise.

The lady of the lake was no more.

but god the implications of Nimue giving Arthur Excalibur and cursing him with it, then him having his knights kill her because he’s now cursed makes me cry
