No worries at all, in fact, it's pretty encouraging when I see someone archive-binging my work in my notes, and even more encouraging when ppl are compelled to send in asks/msgs/comments to say they liked stuff! Evocative and tangible is rly good to hear, thenk you v much. I have been struggling with how I feel about art, so it rly helps

I'm really proud to announce that my work will be in hardcover2024, the fourth book in the series of fancy artbooks full of porn!! Mine is a sequential piece, so this pic is but a small fraction of the full work— I wonder what sort of fun they get up to in the other panels? (Hint: I wouldn't be allowed to post any of the other panels on here)

There are 119 other artists whose work is in there along with mine, see how many of the thumbs you can recognise! And pls tell all your smutt-enjoying friends, and get them hyped for when this hits kickstarter. I have all three previous volumes, and they're so cool.

Hardcover started out as a rebellion against instagram banning titties, and the increasing anti-nudity/anti-sexuality/anti-porn sentiment on social media in general, and it's actually a big part of what inspired me to start drawing porn and posting it on the internet! Anyway, it's hard to express how impactful it actually is to hold a real, physical, beautiful art book full of explicit porn. For porn to be 'legitimised' by a professional and classy presentation. I'm just rambling now. These books are cool!!

I will talk more about this in the coming weeks, and I might even be able to post another panel or two of my piece. Not here though. Once again, they're super explicit, unsafe for Tumblr('s payment processors and advertisers)

The coolest thing abt using the Xkit Rewritten addon for firefox (probably for other, worse browsers too, i dunno), is the option to theme all the posts on ur dash with the chosen colours of the blog they're from. Very cool for more of ppl's self-expression to come thru to my feed! I really like it, some ppl have great colour choices

There are two posts that stand out to me, and the thing that I like about them is the sense of making something that people really connected with. On social media this sense is normally really tied up with the post "doing numbers", but thinking about numbers is bad for your brain, so I try to focus instead on the human reaction aspect of it rather than "likes".

The Band Shirt Comic (2022) I think has had the most real human connection/interaction of anything I've ever made. Tumblr is magical in that it provides a medium for people to uniquely respond to a post without it feeling like they're doing something so bold as "making a comment", and the people being feral in the tags feels so real and tangible. I feel great about having made something that made people want to respond?

The second one I can think of was from Jan of the same year, and was my first artwork on twitter that rly struck ppl, of my artist couple characters fooling around on an empty Melbourne X'Trapolis 100 model (I'm pretty sure) metro train. Ppl made what was a lot of comments for me at the time, and a lot of new ppl followed my art, and I think some artists I looked up to shared it, it was pretty cool.
