For those that may not have found these yet, Strathmore has really nice /free art lessons with videos and PDF instructions. I needed extra inspiration today, so I did Week 2 as my warm up. I have a feeling there may be a lot of people looking for creative outlets to help with stress these days. Just search strathmore workshops to get started if you need extra inspiration/guidance.

Since many of us are still trying to make sense of what is happening and how we could have gotten to this scary place, we need as many soothing things as possible. So we're sending this small token to help remind everyone to take a breath.
Please know, there will always be beauty and love in this world. I know this, because there are people like you and me who will not let tyrannical dictators take that from us or to taint those things. Just like those who faced hitler, or the countless other destructive rulers of history, we can survive the blight that will be infesting the white house for the next four years.

Hopefully I dont get sued - I'm on a mental health journey and it required sharing some things I used to adore so much. Something about these two characters has always got me. Maybe it was the underdog hero thing? Whatever it was, I used to draw these guys over and over, so I decided to give it a go again. I think they turned out pretty okay. Hope you enjoy!

We need magic, like real whip this sh!t into shape kind of magic only talking mice can provide. Where are the fairy godmothers when you need them... This looked pretty magical and I've been doing mandala's lately. They have been both pretty when finished, but also helpful for my sanity too. I hope you enjoy and that it bring a moment or two of peace and zen to your world.
On a cool side note: Our website is built and about 1/4 our inventory has been loaded in, so as soon we finish loading everything in, we can release it into the wild!

Hi! Thank you! Right now, we have a shop on Redbubble and Zazzle for a few things. However, it will be closed up on the 1st because we are opening a new website to sell directly to you! Because frankly, art and such should not cost that much and we can't control the quality through the other sites. So we'll be selling originals, prints, greeting cards, and some stationery items, with more things coming along for the holidays. :) We're gonna post with the link for everyone as soon as we get the green light - Stay tuned!

I am telling myself, just because it isn't perfect, doesn't mean it's trash. This was a concept and draft for a commision for a future Mycologist. This one didn't make the cut, but I still think the concept is sound. I'm off to paint more mushrooms! It seemed like a good 'first week of fall' painting to share!

Making annual calendar holiday type cards for a special order. I wish the metallic paint would pick up better/more accurately, but I still wanted to share. I LOVE drawing, painting the earth and other planets! I also love how are can let you geek out on other things you really like also. Let's make everyday earth day! :)

Have some sunny sunflowers. We know we are inching to fall with all the sunflower art out there coming to the surface. I personally will be clinging to every last inch of summer until it's obvious I need to embrace fall, just in time for Christmas.

I'm not really a fan of the "#blessed" posts. However, when thanks and gratitude really need to be acknowledged, it has to happen. No matter what else is going on, and there's a lot right now, I have to send a huge thanks to my husband and kids, and you for all kind support - even the not so fun feedback.
