Why does Jared cockblock Jensen whenever Jensen starts flirting with Misha or just Giving Misha a compliment?

Anon, have you seen how embarrassing Jensen gets when he starts gushing about Misha? Do you get how downright sickeningly sentimental and mushy he is, even when they’re in public?

(x) Not only did he tell us this story in his own words but he also posted this photo on their literal anniversary knowing we would all know what it referenced? He remembered the day he remembered the table he staged this photo and he SHARED THAT WITH US I am LOSING IT

Honestly take your pick because there are too many moments like this to choose for the sake of this post. In fact, just go through my Cockles tag, you’ll see what I mean. And don’t even get me started on how Jensen can’t stop laughing like an idiot when he’s around Misha. Jesus. It’s embarrassing, it really is.

The dude literally just can’t help himself. He loves Misha. He comments on Misha’s posts so fast it’s entirely possible he has notifications on. He posts about him on his own accounts. He needs to bring him up in every situation, and if he were allowed to talk about him unchecked they would be stuck there all day!

(x) It’s not like the ending of this story was particularly climactic either.

THIS story was similarly rambly, pointless, and not even that funny and also had nothing to do with anything, but Misha asked him to tell it so here we all are! You really think Jared wants to deal with that all the time? Of course he doesn’t.

Look how dead in the eyes Jared is when Jensen starts talking about how great his “relationship” with Misha is in that TV Guide interview for example. Look how fast he cuts him off:

As soon as Misha gets within five feet of Jensen, Jared just… 

*looks into the camera like he’s on The Office*

Jared’s just trying to keep his dumb idiot brother – who is terminally ill with a case of the Lovey Dovey Bitch Disease – on track (and from embarrassing himself too bad publicly), for the sake of his own sanity. Like we get it you love him but no one wants to hear anymore pointless stories about Misha that are only funny to you, Jensen, I want to go tf home. And who can blame him?

(Plus, it’s not like Jared isn’t known to tease Jensen about this fixation every once in a while ;)
