I'm a hobby artist, nowhere professional. I love to paint in oils, and generally do landscapes but have over the past half year worked on a few aircraft (a Skyraider for a coworker's father who flew them in Vietnam, a Spitfire, and a Piper Cub for my dad in honor of my brother who passed from cancer and was an airline pilot who always talked about owning a Piper Cub one day). I finished this Constellation (August 17, 2024) as a gift for a coworker named Connie. ha ha. Not overly thought of as a warbird, it did have its role in the military. But kept this generic in nature. Maybe a little rough around the edges, but wanted to capture a Connie in flight.
