we’re going to team UP!
#ugh one of my fave scenes in one of my absolute favorite favorite episodes!!!#the characters here are just so perfect#and it's so subtle#the way logan and james (at least in hs) would not have mooned anyone (too much dignity/pride/rule-following)#so it's specifically kenlos who get ejected from the game#bc carlos obviously would have and kendall would have bc he would do anything for hockey and carlos so no brainer#and his competitive/reckless/anger management issues side ramps up to override his logical side sometimes#especially when carlos is there to back him up (remembering bt audition...)#and the kenlos dynamic!!! is my favorite! they would do anything together and for each other#and of course james and logan are loyal too but not quite as willing to sacrifice public image for... the sake of mooning lol#it says so much about the dynamic of the four of them together + in pairs + individually#also i love when the show does casual references to hockey#like it was such a big part of their lives and even though it's not anymore#it's still there in the headspace#they still think of themselves as hockey players#let's see what else#oh the kenlos of 'almost' like... kendall knows just how to steer carlos into the direction of his plan without dumping on his idea#ALSO i forgot to mention my fave fave#the little smile kendall does remembering#like they lost the game but it's such a fond memory for him bc he did something insane with his best friend#kendall hockey head knight once again proving that he doesn't care nearly as much about winning as he does being with his best friends#and how happy he gets when he sees james and logan go 'as a team' like he is so pleased when he can see them have that same team mentality#this episode is so FULL of little character dynamics like that and i die every time#additionally this episode is just so...cozy. and domestic like#we see them over the span of a few days just. having breakfast. going about their palmwoods antics#'what do the dogs do on fish stick saturdays' i cry#there's no big high-stakes plot element#(or painful romantic storylines... who said that)#it's just playing music around the pool with your friends and ghost-hunting and gustavo wrangling and then coming together as a team#sidenote really enjoy the coloring of this gifset!
