I was going through old fic plans when...
... I stumbled across one I'd labelled as 'Baby Pond'. I read the plan and was just like:
WHUT.
This was a plan writtenafter "Amy's Choice", and at the time I'd only seen what had been shown of s5, not before. So I'd only seen two episodes of River, and since I hadn't seen s4, I wasn't quite sure about her because I hadn't seen The Doctor meet her so I was like "What? Whaaa?"
The basic plot was that the doctor visited a future version of amy and rory only to find that they'd died recently but had left a 17 year old daughter alive (she wasn't named in the plan) so there was angsty doctor shiz and he took him with her and cared for her. And they fell in love, and she spent the rest of her life with him.
