(psa I'm slowly refollowing people)
(and by slowly I mean I have 150+ blogs that I intend to refollow and I've only refollowed about thirty of them)
(it's a progressive thing because I'm not doing it all at once slash not even all in the same day but if you look at your followers you should be able to figure out if I've followed you yet)
(I'll post my new url some time this week)
(okay this is actually goodbye)
(ending my blog with exactly 99k liked posts and just under 59k blog posts)
(goodbye)

This one’s Hallie, I’m positive. You know, I hope you’re right dad, because you wouldn’t want to send to wrong kid all the way back to England, would you?
you're moving blogs? D:
Yeah. I made an announcement a few weeks ago.
I'm moving blogs because I am unhappy here and I don't like everything surrounding 'Bea' and I need to do well next school year so on my new blog I will also start limiting the time I spend online and all that jazz.
I love this blog but I'd like to be able to log on without feeling overwhelmed by everything -- and I'm tired of people being mad at me for openly talking about the bullshit people face.
There will be zero hard feelings if people don't refollow me and I'm not going to refollow all of my friends on my new blog because I need to have a happy space.
Sigh.
AS OF TOMORROW, THIS BLOG WILL BE AN ARCHIVE
I will post the link to my new blog at some point in time but
yeah I'm done.
you know when you're starting to feel sad but you're not really sad and you realize it's actually because you're overwhelmed by everything?
that's me rn okay
I’m just saying, if Kristen Stewart’s life and career are ruined by this bizarre cheating scandal while Chris Brown continues to make money, we have failed as a society and everyone should feel deeply ashamed of themselves.
You may recall my post from the other day where I talked about the EPIC cast of Lee Daniels’ latest film, The Butler. Well a huge casting choice has been made - Nelsan Ellis of True Blood is playing Martin Luther King! I’m SO happy for him, he is so talented and this is such a great opportunity for him that he deserves so much. He is one of the best actors on True Blood and I always look forward to his scenes. This is such great news!
For those who don’t know, this movie is being scored by Quincy Jones and stars: Forest Whitaker, David Oyelowo, Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, Alan Rickman and Jane Fonda (The Reagans), John Cusack (Nixon), Robin Williams and Melissa Leo (The Eisenhowers), James Marsden and Minka Kelly (The Kennedys), Liam Neeson, Alex Pettyfer, Colman Dingo, Vanessa Redgrave, Liev Schreiber, Mariah Carey
P.S. Here is a picture of Nelsan holding a puppy.
JUSTICE!!!
people over analyse the wrong things in animated movies
i mean i just saw someone claim that it’s weird how pascal got to rapunzel because he’s a tropical animal and doesn’t live where the story happens
so that bothers you
but the fact that rapunzel had 70 foot long glowing hair thanks to a sun flower that literally came from the sun is completely legitimate right
It’s annoying when people say things like, “your anger is hurting your cause!”
It reminds me of how I got involved following many “SJ bloggers” (in quotation marks, because I know many people don’t identify as SJ bloggers, but I don’t know what other word to use). I got involved through an argument. And I remember saying some really ignorant things during that argument, and I also remember getting yelled at. And I deserved it, because I was hurtful and ignorant and wrong.
But maybe if the people I was arguing with had been more polite, I wouldn’t have thought about that argument all the time after it. I might have not started reading blogs written by PoC about their oppression. And the more I read these blogs, the more I started to see how much this point of view made sense, and I obviously eventually changed my mind.
But who knows if that would have ever happened if someone hadn’t confronted me angrily?
People might dismiss anger initially, but if they’re not total asshats, it will at least make them think.
Exactly. People don’t realize how powerful anger is. I’m not going to be able to make any change if I coddle everyone who comes to me with ignorant, hurtful bullshit just because they “don’t know any better”. I don’t owe anyone niceness, but especially not the people who play right into the oppressive tactics I want to fight against.
it is actually much easy for privileged people to explain social issues to other people in a nice calm way because they have never actually dealt with that kind of oppression, when that’s your entire life day after day it’s a bit harder to be all ‘oh it’s okay you’re ignorant let me right you a 2000 word essay in a lovely tone explaining why’!!!!!
when you give your first blowjob the man will ejaculate confetti and streamers in order to congratulate you on a job well done.
what if i do a bad job
then he ejaculates bullets and you die
