OK, I was messing around on YouTube looking up heavy metal songs when I found THIS. It's a song called "Escape" by a band called Nemesis. I wasn't able to find much on them other than that they released a demo called Ceasefire and that they're probably from Houston, Texas. See a live video of them here.
You know what helps me cool down after watching a Season 6 episode of My Hero Academia? Listening to speed metal and thrash metal. Here's Anvil with "666", from their 1982 album Metal On Metal.

Nah, Shadow would probably rather get sucked into a black hole than listen to any Taylor Swift song for even a millisecond. I think he's a real hardcore metalhead, preferring the likes of Iron Maiden, Metallica, Vader, Mayhem or anything like that. However, he might like this Anvil remix of "Shake It Off".

Speaking of Canadian stuff, before I go to bed tonight, I'm going to close with my favorite Canadian metal band ever.
OK, so I guess I have different ideas about what kind of heavy metal Shadow the Hedgehog likes compared to other people. I was talking with a friend of a friend today, and he said that edgelords would be more into more recent stuff such as AFI, Killswitch Engage or anything like that that could be found on Hot Topic shirts.
In contrast, my headcanon about Shadow has him liking NWOBHM, thrash metal, speed metal, death metal and black metal, which would mean bands like Iron Maiden, Diamond Head, Metallica, Slayer, Anvil, Acid, Cannibal Corpse, Vader, Mayhem, Burzum and stuff like that. As a matter of fact, my headcanon also states that Shadow's favorite band is Iron Maiden, and I picture Human Shadow wearing an Iron Maiden shirt. I realize not everybody will agree with this, but that's how I see it.
Anyways, how about another My Hero Academia headcanon since my last one caught on like wildfire: when he has trouble sleeping at night, Todoroki will stay up and watch old-school heavy metal videos on YouTube. Some of his favorites are "The Trooper" by Iron Maiden, "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Black Car" by Acid and the Top of the Pops performance of "Wheels of Steel" by Saxon.
Here's another MHA headcanon: Not only is Tokoyami a big metalhead, but he really loves electronic music, particularly electronic disco, electro funk, industrial, synthwave, ambient and musique concrète.
Another Sonic headcanon: while not as big a metalhead as Shadow, Sonic likes a few of the same metal bands that he does, most notably Judas Priest and Anvil.
