I understand a bunch of you here are concerned about the political situation here and abroad, but please, listen to me: life is not all about politics. There are plenty of fun things in life, too. Go ahead, reblog that beautiful piece of fan art that somebody did. Reblog that funny meme from your favorite show/movie/book/game/whatever. Reblog that interesting piece of trivia that not a lot of people know about. Because quite frankly, life is too short to be wasted on pissing and moaning about every fuckin' thing that's wrong with this world. Life is meant to be LIVED. It's like Judas Priest once said: "One life, I'm gonna live it up". So live it up!

So last Sunday, I played a game of airsoft with my new gun: a Tokyo Marui AKS-47 (or AK-47S as the packaging says). Overall, I’m satisfied with it, although it can’t fit anything larger than an 8.4v NiMH battery. Also, I’m thinking of putting in a tightbore barrel because it seems a touch inaccurate. One odd thing about the gun is that the people I imported (yes, imported) it from stuck a weird M16-type flash hider on it, but it does come with a typical AK muzzle tip.

I played yet another round of airsoft yesterday, and it was fun, as usual. My dad is considering upgrading his VFC M27 because it’s doing 340 FPS with .25 gram pellets, and he was having trouble hitting targets halfway across the field, whereas he was getting tagged easily by a guy with a PolarStar from the other side.

Yep, it’s that time of the year again: airsoft season! I only got one kill, which was during a game with infinite respawns, but whatever, I had fun.

Also, in a previous post, I talked about getting a Tokyo Marui AK or a Tokyo Marui Tommy Gun. Having thought about it some more, I’m leaning towards the AK..

On a less negative note, I played what may just be my final round of airsoft for the year. I’m putting off buying another airsoft gun because of holiday shopping and a general desire to conserve money. I’m still dead-set on a Tokyo Marui AK or Tommy Gun, so if you have any opinions, then don’t hesitate to let me know!

I played yet another round of airsoft today, and it was pretty cold out. I brought my whole armory this time, which was good since my brother’s M14 battery died.

On this note, the season for outdoor airsoft is drawing to a close in my area, so I plan on playing in this CQB field in my state. Problem is, none of my guns are under the FPS limits for that field. Ergo, I plan on getting a Tokyo Marui gun, either an AK-47 or a Thompson M1A1. What do you guys think?

Oh, and did I mention I played another round of airsoft over the weekend? A couple of things happened: first of all, I’d ordered a new battery for my M16 that still hasn’t arrived, which made me decide to use my AK. Second, one of my brothers brought his gun, but forgot the mags + ammo for it, so I loaned him my Uzi. Truth be told, I’m not the best airsoft player ever, but that doesn’t stop me from having fun.

I played some more airsoft today. If you ever play, then I HIGHLY recommend having a backup gun. My M16′s battery had a bad connection, so I used my Uzi instead. Both guns rock!

I played another round of airsoft today, and I finally got a kill! Granted, it was during a game mode where there were infinite respawns, but hey, it’s something, right?

Anyways, I also smacked my M16 against a tree by accident. The stock got bent, but it was easy to slap back into place.

So today, I played my first game of airsoft. Aside from an impromptu match I did with my brothers using some cheap springers, I’d never played before. I didn’t get any kills, but I had a hell of a fun time, and I’m definitely playing again this summer!

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS: WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON

So, some of you may be wondering what’s going on...well...those of you who are actually aware of my existence and are actually following me.

Well, anyways, today’s my birthday, and it’s been a dang good one. People at work brought me all sorts of foods. For supper, I got to hang out with my family at an awesome restaurant. I also got some nice gifts.

Also, some of you may be asking,  “why did you join tumblr?” Well, I joined because I saw people posting some very interesting stuff, and I wanted to get in on this action myself. Granted, I haven’t really had time to be on here because of life, but hey, I’m here. I promise, though, that there will be more good stuff to come!
