So, for Christmas, my mom gave me a Tupperware container filled with various hot sauces, including a small bottle of ghost pepper sauce. Just now, I prepared a batch of 16 chicken wings, coated them in the ghost pepper sauce and ate EVERY LAST ONE, and let me tell you, ghost pepper sauce DOES NOT fuck around! I'm currently eating some cookie dough ice cream to cool off, but even that's only doing so much.
As I do after every political and/or negative post, I like to balance it out with something positive, this time with a headcanon, more specifically, my first Miraculous headcanon: Adrien not only has the ability to eat a large amount of food, but he can eat as much as he wants and not get fat.
Here's an MHA headcanon about a character I haven't done one for in a while: aside from okra and natto, Ashido really loves Southern foods such as chicken-fried steak and biscuits with gravy.
I've done a number of MHA headcanons about various UA students, but it's time I did one about a villain: despite his general disdain for society and desire to destroy All Might, Deku, One For All and anything having to do with heroes, there is one thing that Shigaraki genuinely enjoys: buttered popcorn. However, he thinks that anything less than the movie theater-grade stuff is heresy.
Here's another MHA headcanon about another character I haven't touched upon: Kirishima is an adventurous eater. His favorite food is liver and onions.
And now, for my 400th post, and another Sonic headcanon: Sonic often volunteers at food banks and soup kitchens, and he'll sometimes invite people over to his cabin to share his home cooking with them.
Anyways, PSA aside, here’s another Sonic headcanon: Rouge has a soft spot for hedgehogs because after she ran away from home as a little girl and was struggling to find food on a cold winter night, an older man - who was a hedgehog - gave her $20. She used some of the money to dine at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Another Sonic headcanon: when he’s feeling sad, Shadow feels better after drinking a glass of warm milk. He purrs and blushes when drinking it, too.
A couple of Sonic food headcanons: aside from mint-flavored candies, chili dogs with extra cheese, and pizza, Tails really enjoys fish and chips. As for Espio, aside from dango (a type of sweet dumpling), he enjoys a good Reuben.
Recently, opening limited-time cafes to celebrate certain events has been popular in Japan. There was a Pokemon cafe, a Love Live cafe, a Kirby cafe, a Sailor Moon cafe, a Rilakuma cafe, a Mario cafe, a Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen cafe… all serving food based on the properties, naturally. Things like Rilakuma-shaped rice relaxing in a pool of curry, a burger with Pikachu’s face and tortilla chip ears, y’know, things fans of the series would be into.
For Sonic the Hedgehog’s twenty-fifth anniversary, Sega decided to open a Sonic cafe. A couple of the menu items are what you would expect: a chili dog with a side of onion rings, a parfait based on that crazy ice cream from Sonic Unleashed… but everything else is just really random and weird.
Case in point, this Shadow burger, with a bun colored black by the addition of bamboo charcoal, which has been a popular trend in Japan the last few years. It’s not the bun that your eyes are drawn to, though. It’s the cheese. The cheese with a character printed on it.
THAT IS SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG CHEESE.
This is not a joke. This is a real thing that Sega has decided to do. There exist in this world slices of American cheese with Shadow the Hedgehog printed on them. I don’t even know how to react to this. The burger costs ten bucks and the menu claims that if you eat it, you might be consumed by dark energies.
Shadow the Hedgehog cheese.
SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG CHEESE.
FAR. OUT.
