It's been a while since I did any Mario fan art, so here's Princess Peach as a hot witch. Happy Halloween!
On an unrelated note, I would totally support Princess Peach, Princess Daisy or Princess Rosalina for President.

Almost a year ago, I started this mini drawing series, where I drew the eight well-known human main characters from Super Mario in outfits of the player trainers from all Pokémon regions, in (almost) their official 2D art style, by Shigeru Miyamoto. It's actually hard to capture the full essence of the 2D art style, so I could only get as close as I can. But I think I did okay.
The inspiration behind this series was the stickers from Mario Party Superstars, and since I had been drawing so much Pokémon and missed drawing some Mario, yeah this was the result.
Three months of work, and I did all of this before on computer mouse so it's no easy task. Although after I did Yoshi, I closed off this series and moved on to making more Commissions and finishing my own projects. Despite that, these still get the attention of many in DeviantArt, not so much on Twitter anymore cuz these are literally my first art entries in that site.
I chose a Pokémon from the region assigned to each character:
Mario - I chose Kanto for him, as well as Pikachu because the first Generation is the mascot region of Pokemon, reflecting Mario being the mascot of Super Mario ofc.
Luigi - Johto is actually a region beloved by a lot of people, and Luigi is almost the same, sometimes even more preferred than their counterparts. Although Chikorita's there cuz... green.
Peach - My origin region Hoenn. I chose Skitty for her cuz pink and cute, and perfect for a princess like her.
Daisy - Ironic for a Princess living in a hot biome to be assigned in the coldest region, but at least she has a shiny fellow warm-biome friend Luxio.
Wario - Unova, like Wario and Warioland series, two things that only get the love they deserve way later. Picked Tepig for him, although there are other Unovan Pokémon that'd fit along.
Waluigi - The least loved region, paired with the unloved Luigi Clone. Inkay is due to its evolution method, which also alludes to Waluigi's emblem being an inverted L.
Rosalina - Frankly it's due to the Minior why I assigned her to Alola.
Pauline - Same thing with Grookey that's why she's assigned to Galar.
Yoshi - Someone begged and guilt-tripped me nonstop from the comments in DA, that's why this thing happened. 😑 This too is why I had to strictly implement the "No Free Art Requests!" rule.
Will the series continue? Apparently it did because of this commission. But again, I don't intend on voluntarily continuing this series. So if your character didn't came out, you can always commission me :) ...

Cherry and peach are trapped inside a castle. Mario, luigi, Yoshi, and Bowser try to open it but it won't budge. Then bowser says, "What're we gonna do, Mario!?" Then mario says, "use your head." Then they all pick up bowser and charge at the door, and Bowser is all like, "BUT I DON'T WANNA USE MY HEAD!" Then they all break the door down XD

I've never played Sonic '06, and I probably never will, but Silver and Mephiles were the best parts of the game. As for the Sonic/Elise ship, I have no problems shipping humans with animals like Sonic. Hell, I've done a few fanfics involving it, for example, My Baby, She Likes to Rock (Fanfiction, AO3), which ships Shadow with - of all people - Princess Peach. I personally think the ship could use better writing, though.
So today, I saw the new Super Mario Bros. movie, and I loved it! Aside from the fact that it had so many Nintendo-related Easter eggs, probably my favorite part about it was seeing Peach be more than just a damsel in distress. That, and she had some cute outfits, too. Overall, I can't decide whether I like this or the Sonic movies better, but then again, why choose?
Nice to know I'm not the only one into Shadow x Peach!
So, apparently today is "Mario Day". If I'd known that, I would've written a Mario fic to celebrate. Ah well, I'll just use this as an opportunity to plug my existing Sonic/Mario crossovers: Terror At the Olympic Games (Fanfiction) and My Baby, She Likes to Rock (Fanfiction, AO3)
So, after putting it off for so long, I finally got around to watching the latest trailer for the Super Mario Bros. movie, and I gotta say, I'm still impressed! I now understand why I'm seeing all this "Bowser x Luigi" fan art on my dash. Also, it's nice to see Princess Peach doing something other than getting kidnapped. I'm SO seeing this when it comes out!
Also, if you're looking for any fanfics where Princess Peach actually does something other than being kidnapped, I wrote a Sonic x Mario crossover titled My Baby, She Likes to Rock (Fanfiction, AO3), which also happens to be the only fic in existence that pairs our favorite pink Princess with Shadow the Hedgehog of all people.
Anyways, while we're talking about Mario, I should also like to reiterate that I am the writer of the only Sonic/Mario crossover that pairs Shadow the Hedgehog with Princess Peach. It's called My Baby, She Likes to Rock, and it can be read on Fanfiction or AO3.
So, as some of you may know, I'm currently in the process of posting a Shadow/Peach fanfic to Fanfiction.net. What you may not know, however, is that mine wasn't the first. Before that, another user posted a fic titled Bittersweet about Shadow and Peach befriending each other during the Winter Olympics. Sadly, that one - as riddled with spelling and grammar errors as it was - was deleted recently, so now I'm the only game in town when it comes to Shadow/Peach fics...as far as I know, anyhow.
OK, so today, I was looking up Shadow and Peach art...that is, whatever little of it there is, and I found a video from MagicIce709 of Shadow and Peach taking part in figure skating pairs in Mario & Sonic At the Sochi Olympic Games. Not only was I inspired by shadamyheadcanons' header image, but I decided that taking a screenshot of Shadow and Peach would also be a fun way to promote my Shadeach/Peachadow fic My Baby, She Likes to Rock.
Complaints aside, here's a Sonic/Mario headcanon: Shadow gets extremely nervous around Peach because he thinks she's the most beautiful woman in the world.
And here's another Sonic/Mario crossover fic I did, which features Shadow x Peach (Shadeach? Peachadow?). While not the first fic to pair these two, I'd say this is quite possibly the best one yet.
So, in spite of the fact that the Olympics are going to be different this year, I posted this - my first Olympics fanfic and consequently my first Mario fic - anyways. Enjoy!
Speaking of Peach, I don't know about any of you, but I think she has the most beautiful hair of any fictional character I've ever seen.
