Finally saw a Cybertruck in the wild today, and it's even stupider than I expected IRL.

It's a pretty cool design if it was a Hot Wheels toy car, or some futuristic thing in a movie, but I think it speaks volumes if my Mom's initial response was "... Is that a coffin on wheels?" and, honestly, she ain't wrong

Also, really dig the sidewise parking in the handicap zone. Really sells the entitlement. See no placard information, so as far as I know, there's nothing that is verifying clearly that they can park there ((~~several of my relatives have a placard, and I know the rules~~))

Also, is that window on the side cracked???

I've seen a few in my home state, and I'm honestly not sure if it's the same truck or if there are more than one. Regardless, I'm about as likely to buy one as I am to willingly eat broccoli.

If I ever got a truck, I'd want a 1973-80 Chevy/GMC full-size pickup, like this one:

An example of the kind of truck I want, a 1976 Chevy Silverado. The 1973-80 GM full-size pickups were largely unchanged externally, with different grilles for the 1973/74, 1975/76, 1977-79 and 1980 model years. Also, the turn signals were integrated with the grille surround in 1979, and square headlights were optional in 1980, though previously offered on GM full-size vans since 1978.

Also, the 1981-87 models were similar, albeit with a more aerodynamic hood/fender combo, different badging, square headlights now standard, and a slightly different tailgate.

I don't know how any of you feel, but I don't identify much with rich people. I mean, if I somehow obtained millions of dollars, I'd rather give most of it away to family and friends, only keeping enough for me to live comfortably for the rest of my life. Besides, I'd rather buy a 1973-80 Chevy/GMC full-size 4x4 pickup instead of a BMW or Lamborghini, and I'd rather live in a regular house than a mansion. I would also much rather eat KFC or Chinese food than dine at some fancy restaurant that required formal dress.
