OK, I don't know how many people from Greece use Tumblr, but since today is Greece's national holiday, I wanted to celebrate with some Greek music. OK, the band's not actually Greek, but close enough. TRIVIA: This was a project of Daniel Vangarde and Jean Kluger, the former being the father of Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter.

So, for the first time on YouTube, I uploaded a whole album. The band is a Canadian rock band from Sherbrooke, Quebec called Highstreet, and the album is their 1979 debut She Won't be Waitin'. Basically, I uploaded this because their music was featured in the 1980 slasher movie Prom Night starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen. It's not a bad album, although it's not my #1 favorite. Still, it has some good songs.
